Ahhh Mom and I will be headed for New Orleans soon. I will have to check out any Beatley objects at the Hard Rock Cafe there.

Last night we went to the new IKEA in Memphis. It is the largest retail store in Tennessee.

Thanks for your condolences. I’ll keep y’all updated on the status and of the water heater replacement.

@moriz looks like you have a smilarish problem. I hope you can get your house unflooded.

I know we need water to survive and all, but sometimes it can be such a pain in the neck.

Off to the beach for the day tomorrow – forecast is “mostly sunny with light winds; temperature 33C” – sounds perfect.

Well we found out about an hour and a half ago(at 10:00 at night when we were about to go to bed) that our water heater broke. Water was leaking in the closet and a couple of other places, because the pipes had corroded(we assume). We had to drain the water heater, and we now have no hot water. We have to get it fixed, and we leave town on Wednesday. If this had only happened a couple of days ago, we wouldn’t be so stressed about it, but now it’s one day before we leave, and there are clothes we still haven’t washed, and we probably should take showers. Hopefully someone can come to install a new water heater tomorrow so that we can rest easy during the trip knowing our house isn’t gonna flood from leaks. Is it just me, or does it seem that things seem to break at the worst times?

Well we called someone to come in and install a new water heater and they said that they would be there at 2-5:00pm. They ended up showing up early at about 11:00am, and they just now finished installing it(at 2:00am). So joy(and hot water) has returned to the Shears Campbell home.

Thanks to the heatwave we’re having, my fuses blew 10 minutes ago. Right when I want to go to sleep… Everything is dying, it seems. Water heaters, and now a fuse box.

My water problems aren’t going away any time soon; it’s a combination of where I live (on the bottom of a large hill with tree roots that love to ruin the pipes) and our lack of money to pay for it to get fixed. At least we’ve found ways of stopping the water before it destroys the entire lower floor!

Very happy that @William Shears Campbell got everything in order. Hoping the same will soon happen for @The Hole Got Fixed !

Oh my, so many things breaking! That’s 3 within the last 3 days. It looks like 2016 is throwing it’s last little bit at us while it’s still around.

I hope you get your fuse box fixed @The Hole Got Fixed, and I hope you get your pipes fixed @moriz.

Thanks everyone for all the well wishes! I’ve been told it will get fixed this morning…. I’ll believe it when I see it!

Also, @Beatlebug, part of the reason I mentioned the heatwave is because I know what the weather is like in the northern hemisphere!

Today I went to go visit what may be my home in about 3 years. My cousin has a house not far from the school I got accepted to, and she’s the only one who lives there. She said I could stay with her while I go to school. We get along really well and we enjoy similar things, so she’ll be pleasant roomhousemate. Also she really likes the Beatles, so that’s a plus with staying there.

I am doing one of those number and letter games, which I’ll give a few examples:

7=D with SW  – 7 Dwarfs with Snow White

2= C, T is a C-   2 equals Company, Three is a Crowd blah blah

I’ve answered 32/57 so far but if anyone is any good at them, do you have any answer for these:

2 = P in a G of C

3 = N of TGP in the O

15= D of the R

30 = SP in T

19 = OLTT

7= N of S of the P of the IR

125 = L of the RL in KM

17= NR between T and G

1 = GTDA

1 = MM is AMP

14= LA

3= SUP is an A

7= D of N in the E

80= FTS

20= IDC for E

3= OKCF

12= A in I

15= RSN after the L of the ER

1503= PD on the T

14= QNM from TQ

8= CB around the PA

4= KK on the D by TOM

28= RN on a CF

3= P in an IS

90= S in a M and AH

0= YSI beat the AB

If anyone even knows one of them it would be a great help!

@AppleScruffJunior, 12=A in I means 12 Apostles in Ireland (I think).

Don’t know about the rest!

^ You see everyone thinks it’s 12 Apostles in Ireland and my Googling last night told me there is “12 Apostles of Ireland” (huh never knew that myself) but it just isn’t a common phrase unlike the rest of my answers. It’s a bloody difficult task so it is.

Other guess include 3=P in an IS, three pins in an Irish socket?

If I don’t come up with any better solutions though, I’ll put them in anyways.

So, I’m just into New Year’s Eve, and I’m curious if anyone has big plans for their leap second?

Obviously, with it occurring at 23:59:60 GMT, I’ll be using the extra time to reflect more deeply on the last year than I might normally before stumbling into a new year. For others though, you’ll get the extra second at times of day maybe offering more choice about what you do with it. Looking forward to hearing how you all plan to make the most of it.

As I get it at 10:59:60 AM on the first of Jan, I’ll be spending it doing nothing.

Update on my brain teasers above:

I am now down to 4

7= D of N in the E

15= RSN after the L of  the ER

8= CB around the PA

28= RN on a CF

With a little under 2 hours before the submission date, this thing is killing me
