I’ve been a bit miserable today. I woke up to my sinuses draining..or a cold..but either way I had a sore throats and a stuffed up nose. I’m a bit better now, but I’m now extremely tired, just waiting for the big dinner to be ready.
I’m pretty sure @Beatlebug got me sick. I say that because she was sick earlier so she her sick probably traveled through the inter webs and came out of my laptop. That’s how the internet works, right.

Offline Thank you @Beatlebug. I think it may be just my sinuses draining and not a cold, which is good. I took some allergy medicine and I’m feeling a lot better. Hopefully it isn’t a cold and I wake up tomorrow not sick.

If I’m thinking correctly, a vinyl fair is sort of like a record show.
Don’t be afraid to haggle for anything, if something is 15$, ask 10$ or something.
They’re usually crowded as heck, but if you skim around and find out who has the best table, then you’re doing pretty good.
There’s a lot of duplicate records around, so if you find a record you want, but it’s in questionable not-worth-that-much condition, you’ll probably find a better one at another table. If you’re not sure about there being another one, you can slyly stick in the back of the record stack, so no one else will find it, while you go look for a better copy.

Offline I went to my friends house for thanksgiving, although it was actually a birthday party for two of my friends (one of them turned 54 on thanksgiving and the other turned 53 on Monday) and it went pretty well. Also, thinking about copyright strikes, I’m in some s**t because I uploaded Beatles To A Tee Vol. 1 to YouTube and got 2 copyright strikes because of it, although when I tried to look for copyright in the us copyright database, I couldn’t find it. Well at least it was the company itself that took the videos down instead of some bitch who doesn’t have anything better to do.

Offline While everyone is out saving money by Black Friday shopping, I’m sitting at home saving even more money by not buying things I don’t need. I actually just finished making a Let It Be soundtrack with the songs in the movie. There’s some nice versions in there. This now brings the number of albums containing Get Back session stuff in my library up to 5.

Offline I did a little bit of shopping today. I got my mom some Christmas presents that I know she can use around the house. Bed, Bath, and Beyond gave out 20% off coupons as you walked in the door so that made shopping there even better.
I also got my cousin’s wife a New York City guidebook that I will give to her for Christmas. She told me yesterday during Thanksgiving dinner that she had talked my cousin into going to NYC on their next vacation. A proper vacation deserves a proper guidebook, IMO.

That’s great news 😀 I’ve bought a Beatles vinyl on eBay in October (this will be the first fair I’ll be going to but I’ve bought my first vinyl off eBay), luckily certified first hand (the more it gets passed on the worse the condition is 🙁 ) as I’ve had a long talk with the seller and now I’m even happier it’s used for the reasons you stated 😀
That’s exactly my problem since there’s many sellers giving out counterfeits while passing them for originals or saying something is a 1st pressing while it’s a later one. And with me being a hasty Beatlemaniac I’m the perfect prey.
Sliding in the back of the record stack looks like a nice idea though! Sadly I probably wouldn’t be quick enough to pass by unnoticed. Too recognizable hairstyle =_=
On a side note, the show turned out to be more entertaining than true. I guess I did expect too much but when the TV presenter introduced the contestant as Sir John Lennon I knew what was coming xD as far as I recall John refused the MBE or something similar, or at least I’m only used to hearing of Sir Paul and not Sir John :/ The jury members also seemed to have a particular dislike for Yoko (I don’t really love her but they went down quite hard with insults for a TV show).

Offline Just recapping what I did for future reference with the 503 error.
I use Firefox primarily, and I also tried Chrome to see if it was a browser issue. Same result, same error. Cookies removed and all that jazz, lol. So I just waited a few days and tried again (because I didn’t want to block myself or spam the server with password reset requests) and the 503 happened again, but after a couple weeks I try to reset my password, still got the 503 page, BUT my password successfully reset today. Hope the tidbit of insight helps anyone else that might have this problem.
That said, back on topic…
Instead of just Black Friday, at work we have Black Friday -and- Black Saturday. One day down, one to go. Yay, retail! =)
