The plan is to take a bit of time off, then start work on a new project in January (details TBA, though it’s non-Beatles), finish writing my book, get it published, and do loads more work on this site to make it better and bring in more traffic…
Your plan is missing one vital element; sleep for a month. That’s how I would start. Best of luck my friend.

Thanks @Zig! I do actually plan to get a lot of rest in December – I’ve been feeling burnt out for ages. I’m also going to have a digital detox for a week, though I’m not sure precisely when. That’ll be quite a challenge, but definitely something I need to do.

Been ignoring this until it was upon me, much as I did before.
I’m going to disappear for a few days starting… I book into hospital in about twelve hours.
I have, and no polite way of putting this, had several very bloody s****s over the last week. I’m going into hospital in the morning to have some tests done. Hopefully it’s not nothing, but these things need checking when you’re as healthy as me…

Offline On the local health front the main scab (yuck) from my skin cancer op is gone – biopsy and inspection all clear. Touch wood all is now well – though somehow I managed to burst a blood vessel in my eye.
