I used to be really into Legos as a kid and I kinda wanted to get this because Legos, and obviously Beatles! However, the price is YIKES, $60 for some pieces of plastic. I forgot how much money Legos cost. I might put it on my wish list and hope someone gives it to me, because I’m a poor(financially) teenager and I can’t afford that.

Since Paul McCartney ‘s hair in Sims 3 is now defunct (no lie, his hairdo was removed from the Store content and no longer works), I’m going to try out the Beatlettes I made based off my Beatles Sims and throw ’em in the Help House with Yoko in some sort of sorority-type thing. Perhaps I’ll find another hairstyle for Paul someday. So far there’s nothing else that works. Thanks, EA 
Maybe I’ll give them a cat. And/or a sheepdog named Martha. This should be fun.
Update: Found out what the hair problem was. Let’s just say I would need to pay 19.99 for the expansion pack it’s in (High-End Loft Stuff), since I had it for a bit along with Origin Access membership, which I let expire because I never used any other feature. We’ll have to see if Paul’s hair is worth 20 bucks (you do get other stuff with it but still).

Offline I went to an antiques shop today and I found an entire box of what looked to be 78’s! I’ve never seen one in person before, and they were so interesting and they looked so lovely, but I didn’t get any of them because I’m much like Will Shears and have no money and I also don’t know where and how I’d store them (you’d be surprised how brittle they can be, if you haven’t handled one already; so I want them to be as safe as possible, even as things that are just for show). Maybe someday I’ll take them home.
I dunno, finding and looking through them really improved my mood for some reason, so I thought I’d share it here.

Offline I just got home from my final marching band completion ever. We got 4th place overall with a score of 79/100. It’s very bitter sweet, not doing marching band ever again.

One week to go till I finish my job! My last day is next Wednesday, then I’m on paid leave till the end of the year (I’ve accrued a lot of leave).
The plan is to take a bit of time off, then start work on a new project in January (details TBA, though it’s non-Beatles), finish writing my book, get it published, and do loads more work on this site to make it better and bring in more traffic. I’ll have a couple of years to make it all financially viable, else I’ll have to get another job (boo). I’m tentatively hopeful it’ll all work out, though it’ll be weird going it alone.
