Shoe #3: my wife somehow managed to clip a garbage can with her car’s passenger-side mirror, smashing the mirror and turning the mirror housing into a useless piece of plastic that’s just kind of dangling from the mount. Apparently the impact didn’t even budge the (also plastic) garbage bin.
This is what I meant by “self-fulfilling prophecy,” I think.

Offline It’s basically brown with a slight reddish hue that can be seen in certain bright lights, but it can turn more blonde when I stay out in the sun. And I’m getting a few natural silver highlights now (I’m 46).

Offline I’ve just gotten some somewhat disappointing news concerning me and this forum.
The image hosting service that I most often use, postimage.org, is most likely shutting it’s doors forever soon. That means that nearly every picture I’ve ever posted on this forum will become a dead link. I know this is a minor thing, but this really pisses me off. Soon many of my posts will turn into blank space and unintelligible nonsense (of course, some could argue that my posts are already unintelligible nonsense). It would a complete waste of my time to try and track down every picture to put it on a different service. I’m not even going to try.

I was offline so never noticed. I can’t say I care but that you for your concern, it’s nice to know someone was bothered.

Ah no your absence was missed, whenever somebody who visits regularly is gone for a few days, it’s really noticeable on the forum, I guess it’s like the online family- you have to pop in every now and again or else we’ll send out a search party.
Also hope you enjoy your new house, I would bring you over a housewarming gift but alas I don’t know where you live and I’m sure you’d be creeped out if I showed up at your front step. (Side note: have you brought the cats with you? If I seem to remember you have a few)
