After 5 weeks my cat is back!!
We gave him away to a family who stayed 2 towns away over many fields, hills and pieces of grass and concrete.
Anyone know what to do with a homing cat?
The cat just want to see that your okay and missing you, and wants to be sure your still at home and waiting for his return 🙂

Offline One of my friends taught me this one awhile back. If you’re trying to get hot, just put the bath/shower on the hottest setting and close all openings in the bathroom and use the shower like a sauna. If you can get outside of the shower hot enough, you can just sit in the bathroom with your clothes on for ultimate heat, Just remember that this is only safe in short bursts and costs a bit of money.

I’m moving house in a couple of months and can’t keep him.
Poor little baby kitty cat. ): You should make sure to visit him often so he doesn’t feel abandoned and bring him a new toy or treat every time you do visit so he knows you still love him. It probably would have been a good idea to try and find a home you where you could bring him with, though it was considerate of you to find a new home for him and not just throw him out into the streets. There is a very good book by Beverly Cleary I read when I was in elementary school called Socks. I really think you should give the book a read to understand better what is going on in the mind of your cat at this stressful time in his life.

I’m not going visiting a cat, neither am i reading about its mindset. He’s going to a new home and that’s the end of it.

Hastings, our only local bookshop/dvd rental store is going out of business unfortunately. Ohhh Boy and I stopped in last night to see what was on sale. I just had to pick up a London travel book. Ohhh Boy bought me the Help ! dvd and that Fun With The Fab Four dvd that we have been discussing recently.
Next up in my life, I need to set travel alerts with my bank, credit card company, and with the U.S. State Department. And add an overseas calling plan to my mobile phone for the time I will be in the UK.

Offline If you haven’t already noticed, I’m back from my vacation! 
It was pretty nice, and although for me there were some not-terribly-great bits, I managed to get some shopping in and now I’ve got my first-ever Pink Floyd shirt, a Pink Floyd patch, an awesome new necklace pendant and a whole wack of vintage 1960’s/’70’s/80’s clothing (which is absolutely great, because the amount of places that sell authentic vintage clothing in my city is extremely lacking 
). I also saw some other cool stuff that I wanted but didn’t get, namely vinyl (which might not have survived the trip home, and I’m really not up to taking that risk) and a copy of the Dec. 22nd, 1980 issue of Time magazine (which I`m really kicking myself for not buying despite my lack of money 
).
Overall it was a good trip; I missed you all and now I`m looking forward to catching up more on what I`ve missed.
