Thanks, they are releasing more tomorrow. Up until December 2016 I believe, my mam isn’t 100% happy with it but I’ll still try for them anyways. Even if I can’t go, I can always sell them later and make some profit on it.

Went to the Grand Canyon yesterday. It was a great place, unfortunately it was roughly a 4 hour drive, and I probably spent more time in a car than wandering the South Rim (which was the one we stayed at the whole time). My dad and brother got lost going to the museum, so it was mostly a “take a few pictures and wander the general store to get food because I don’t like the food they had there” type of thing. The only reason we didn’t stay for long was because the car ride gave me a pounding headache because I get motion sick during long car rides, though I would’ve loved to stay for a good majority of the day if I was feeling better.

I also did get some good photos, even though it was a very cloudy day:image-1.jpegImage Enlarger

We also went into the watch tower

Been having a great argument about the Monkees in a YouTube comment section, one of the most entertaining things to do.

Last night I went to this cowboy/swing music show thing. My sister was playing fiddle with the chick who was singing, so I felt obligated to go.

I’ve since decided that cowboy music is all the same. a-hard-days-night-ringo-13

Let me elaborate; cowboy music isnt the same as country music. Cowboy songs are about horses, texas, coyotes, sagebrush, and dust. (Like Roy Rogers’ music).

I don’t mind country. (As long as it’s Michael Nesmith.)

I’ve worked two 13 hour shifts over the last 2 days whilst feeling like utter s**t. If it wasn’t for ibuprofen, throat sweets, it being the weekend so management weren’t about, and having a job where if needs be I can have a sit down and a cup of tea I would never have gotten thru. Tonight I walked 50 minutes home in the wind and, at times, rain as the next bus was an hour away and there were no taxis.

Tomorrow I hope to do as little as possible (i do have to go and get shopping as I have incredibly little food in the house) whilst sitting on the sofa praying (“tho i aint no praying man”) for either healing or death. Either will suit me.

So you’ve proselytized Mom into being a fan too?  Or was she a fan girl all along?  Seems like she would have been of an age to play a real-life part in the narrative The Beatles arrive in New York City TODAY!

I say in speeches that a plausible mission of artists is to make people appreciate being alive at least a little bit. I am then asked if I know of any artists who pulled that off. I reply, 'The Beatles did'.

On Thursday, I will be leaving on a little trip.

My aunt has a job which involves temporary job assignments all around the country. Her current assignment is ending. I will be flying out to Seattle, Washington on Thursday. I’ll do some touristy things in Seattle on Friday. On Saturday onward, I will be helping her on her drive back home to the Chicago area. For those not in the know, this is a 2022-mile (roughly 3254 km) drive. I will be driving through Washington, Idaho, Montana, possibly some of Wyoming, South Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa, possibly some of Wisconsin and Illinois.

We’re thinking of making a few stops along the way, but it’s kind of a “we’ll see where we stop when we come to it” sorta thing. Mount Rushmore has been discussed, as it is right on our route.

I'm Necko.  I'm like Ringo except I wear necklaces.

I'm also ewe2 on weekends.

Most likely to post things that make you go hmm... 2015, 2016, 2017.

She seems to have come along willingly. She has fumbled around on Facebook on her new smartphone and has ended up following all kinds of Beatles-related sites. Now she even tells me Beatles trivia. paul-mccartney-thumb_gif

She adores Ringo’s songs and his solo career. She thinks he’s fab.

We’re to that part of the summer where the heat is so unbearable that it drains my energy. Just being outside for 20 minutes, I have to sit or lie down for 40 minutes to recover. I have no enthusiasm for tasks, and the existential dread is setting in. At least I can breathe, some summers I have had a bad asthma episode and have to miss work to stay in bed. The ozone action days really get me.

In February I’ll have a similar experience, when the wet, icy wind is numbing my face and I can’t feel the tips of my fingers. I hate the days when it’s not cold enough to freeze and the wind just blows the icy rain around. My fingers are never warm in the winter as I have Raynaud’s. I also have seasonal affective disorder, so with the lack of sunlight I tend to settle into a deep depression and life seems meaningless.
