Did I mention it’s mid winter down this way? Lots of toasty minus 7 nights and tops of 8-12 or so (all degrees C).A little cool for HKL coming from the mid to high 30s; and who has never experienced a temperature below zero before.
I have my own personal eskimo 🙂
So nice to see you two! I was missing winter the other day, so this picture is just what I needed to cheer up. Glad that you worked things out with the visa and all. We need to catch up on the Neil’s epic European tour trc.

I wroted a song. Okay, I know I said this before, but this one I’ll keep, even though it’s not very good (I don’t think, anyway). Roughly, it’s about not being able to tell someone something important, even though you talk to them all the time. (I have this problem a lot.) So, basically, I Want To Tell You .

Very cool, SG! I’m not jealous at all I can relate to the subject matter of your new tune, as I have that exact same problem with a friend of mine.
Anyways, on the subject of the Paulie & Wings concert movie I went to see:
It was awesome! T’was very Rock ‘N’ Roll and Paul was just adorable!……..
…..But, you know what was equally as awesome, if not better?……..
…….I WON A LOT OF FIENDISH THINGIES!!!
Yep! They had a draw before the movie began for a bunch of explosive curling stones Wings merch, and since there weren’t too many people in the theater, each one of my family that went (including myself) won a thingy each! Of course, being the Beatlemaniac of the family, I got all of it.
So, here’s what I got:
– A Wings At The Speed Of Sound box-set-thingy
– A McCartney II box-set-thingy
– The remaster of Wings Over America on vinyl
– The deluxe edition of Pure McCartney, also on vinyl
YAY!
Ok, that’s enough excitement for now.

@Necko – just now seeing your post from the previous page. This is cruel irony to have it happen to someone who is interested in a career in creative writing. I know there are tools out there (you are already using one) that can assist, but let’s hope it doesn’t come to that. I wish you all the best.

Thanks zig.
Yesterday I had no choice butt 2 Drive. I was a little concerned about how this would impair my driving abilities. I actually drove better then I was expecting. It was uncomfortable butt not particularly dangerous. It started raining heavily on the way back. I Said 2 my dad “if I Were tired, we would B dead right now. I don’t think I could handle 3 impairments.”
It feels different today. Some symptoms have gotten a little better. Other symptoms actually have gotten worse. Anyway all I can do is a combination of what’s already been said and waiting it out.

Sims 3 is an interesting game indeed.
I just witnessed George make 2 unsuccessful attempts to tip a cow.
Apparently Sims like to body-slam and shoulder-tackle livestock for fun before breakfast.
Update: Ringo just went to go tip the cow himself, and nailed it on the first try. Lol.

Had a FABULOUS band practise today– the Offbeats rock, when we’re not off beat — and just did some really nice faery sketches which I’m very proud of (I haven’t drawn faeries in years, but I just suddenly got the urge to and they came out very nicely).
All that Beatle-drawing paid off– my grasp of facial anatomy has improved ever so much.

I had a chat with my mum the other day, and we’ve agreed to go on holiday to the UK next summer. We’ll be focusing on Manchester, Blackpool, and – primarily – Liverpool since mum is a massive Beatles fan too.
Needless to say I’ll be booking us a room at the AHDN hotel for the duration of the trip, and I’ll definitely want to do one of those National Trust tours. What else would those who’ve been up the Pool recommend? We’d be going a 4-5 days, most likely. I know it’s still a year away (we have to save up for it) but I’d like to start planning as soon as possible to get the most out of our time there.

@Mademoiselle Kitty >^..^<, that is FAB news! Have a look through this thread. https://www.beatlesbible.com/f…..es-places/
I’ll add more to that thread when I’m over there in October. I know I want to see the new statue. I’ve already worked out the train route to see Brian’s grave.
