Ahhh Girl, sorry to hear about the leg. Are you still on pain killers? If so, you can measure their affect on your brain cells by viewing this picture of the White Album cover. If there is no long term damage, the image will be plain white.
I can disprove that. It appears in the colours of my dreams, and I’m not on anything except music and laughter.

I went out to shop for some things and I returned.
I will probably go out again in another couple of hours to shop for different things (more edible than the things I already shopped for).
Probably watch the Prime Minister change beforehand.

Offline Cameron departing is currently on the tv and consists at the moment of an aerial shot of his car arriving at Buckingham Palace. Its incredibly boring so i am getting up to do something before i slip into another dimension.

Offline Got hired!
Yesterday we baked cupcakes for the whole staff at my current internship, that was fun and there were a few left so I took them home. Tomorrow is their last official schoolday, but on Friday they have to hand in their schoolbooks and there’s some sort of competition with 10 games they will be playing in teams. Tomorrow will also be our goodbye, with a barbeque with the whole staff. Me and another intern aren’t completely leaving though, as we’ll be doing our graduate research (?) over there.
So you Brits have any opinions on your new PM? She was pro-Remain, right? So that’s odd.

Offline Eww I got asked to represent my local drama group in a beauty pageant. Why the hell would they want me? I won’t be chosen anyways because I don’t fit into the “past winners looks”, I’m short and have curly, dark hair. Everybody else has been tall and has light-coloured hair :/
I also have to buy a dress and I can’t wear long dresses because:
1) I don’t like them anyways
2) They swamp me
I’ll also have to go on a float in a parade like this goes against the entire feminist-movement that is going on atm (….lolz).
Gah I don’t want to let anyone down but I also don’t want to look like an idiot. I’d have to do something for talent and I know a monologue wouldn’t win which means I have to sing and because I’m representing a drama group I have to probably sing a song from a musical.
Might as well go out in a blaze of glory and do Guns and Ships from Hamiliton…that would be an amazing failure.

Oh yes I also forgot to say I’d have to bring a male-friend as a date.
Now I have no lads in my town that I would call “friends” and I wouldn’t embarrass myself to ask some lad that I barely know to come with me.
I’ve got plenty of lad-friends, I shall gladly send one over for you if you like. You have to pay postage and all that though. 
As for me cold I had an absolutely horrific miserable night (the morning was a bit better; I didn’t sleep till 12 am despite going to bed substantially earlier), but I survived, and there is a song which perfectly captures the grouchy self-pitying misery of a so-called ‘trifling’ head cold which I am finding great consolation.
Music seems to help the pain
Seems to motivate the brain
