^Cannot unsee, I’m scarred for life x.x
Did a bit of driving about today to get out of the house. Stops included Toys R Us, Goodwill, Jackson’s Music, Target, Best Buy, Rock Shop & Comics, Walmart, and T-Mobile.
A few of the tiny spoils of my trip include:
A Beatles DVD “Fun with the Fab Four” at MovieStop (priced 3.49, on sale for 1.86)
a tiny stylus for 2.95, at Target on clearance (it cost more than the DVD lol)
An Abbey Road album cover t-shirt for 20
Went to a proper music shop for the first time, had my hands on a Fender Squier which runs about 199 there, perhaps at a later date when I get some practice on….

…this thing, to judge if I’m REALLY serious about learning some guitar. I went ahead and took the plunge, now we shall see if I get anywhere with it. Should arrive in about a week or so.

Offline Currently editing some video clips of my Rock Band 3 shenanigans. I created a female quartet that’s very loosely based on the Beatles in somewhat Sgt Pepper -esque colors. I’d like to be able to share videos without the risk of stepping all over song copyrights though… 
That said, I don’t know if there is a Rock Band thread on this forum. If there is one, I’ll gladly start throwing my RB stuff that way.

Offline Today was sweden’s national day and they had a food festival in stockholm, there were stands with loads of foreign food. They also had a small parade but with amazing masks and costumes!

Went and got myself a much needed haircut today. So now, I can wake up, fall out of bed, drag a comb across my head without all these split ends getting in the way. I’m still a Long Haired Lady (ahem…) though. 
Oh, and only 5 days to go until Pinkpop. Can’t wait!

Offline Am getting eaten by a thousand midges as I came outside to enjoy the lovely evening that it is. Might as well cover myself and jam and lie on the ground so i’m extra tasty for them. 
Having been off work for 6 days I return tomorrow for a 13.5 hour shift. Feels like I’m going back to school knowing there is triple detention at the end.

Offline It’s 00:15 and 15 degrees C. In Scotland. Where I live.
If we get 15 degrees C during the day we call it a heatwave, quit work and head to the beach.
How can you sleep in this heat when you’re used to jumping into bed before your toenails ice over?

An evil little flying insect that comes out in humid and moist weather with its 40 trillion friends and treats you as its first meal in months. Not poisonous but can leave you with multiple bites that itch like hell.

If you have a wooden floor, sleep on that with your skin touching the floor and have no blanket.

Midges are a group of insects that include many kinds of small flies.
Though they are world wide. So I was half right. Learned something new today. I call then gnats.
