Been mainly preoccupied with new laptop the past few days – moving/copying files, installing programs etc.
Also starting to set up a holiday for later in the year. @Ahhh Girl is taking her second trip to the UK in two years at the beginning of October. Plan is to be in Liverpool for John’s birthday on the 9th.
At the moment we only have rough plans in mind – London 1st to 6th October, travel to Cardiff on the 6th, stay through to the 8th, on the 8th travel to Liverpool, see many of the things we missed last year because we didn’t have enough time there. Back to London on the 14th for her return home on the 15th.
Obviously, knowing AG, the schedule will fill in as we go through the planning.
Looking forward to it already. Though my knee does seem to be playing up again, maybe muscle recall at what she did to my legs last year!

I’m going to stock up on blister plasters before I fly over. I could fly open-jaw into London and back home from John Lennon airport if that would save time. Thoughts to think.
I have something special for @Joe that I am bringing with me to loan him.

I had a very interesting day today, to say the least.
So there was a minor fire in one of the electrical boxes at my school, which was kind of funny because at the time there was someone testing the fire alarms and the principal told everyone via the loudspeaker thingy that if the alarm went off it was just a test and we could just ignore it. Then when the alarm went off for real, they had to tell everyone to actually leave.
Anyways nobody was hurt etc. etc. and also I missed a bunch of Humanities so that was a plus.

When I found out large bags aren’t allowed at Pinkpop, I wasn’t too chuffed. My favourite bag is quite big, even though there’s hardly anything in it. Anyway, the hunt for a new, small bag was on. I found one. It’s one-of-a-kind. It’s cute. It’s….

Okay, this is weird.
I applied for a job today. I gave them an email address. I got the “we received your resume” confirmation email. Here’s the thing, though. They sent it to an email account other than the one I gave them.

Maybe your two email accounts are linked together? (That mean that if someone sends you an email both email addresses get the email.)
Edit: Very cool Elm!

I went to a guitar show today. They had a lot of cool vintage guitars for sale, some dating as far back as the 1920’s. Unfortunately, the whole place was too rich for my blood. I left only buying a wooden guitar pick tray shaped like the body of a Fender Strat.

It’s been such a bleh day with the sun not coming out and having nothing exciting to do. We’re supposed to go see The Jungle Book at the theatre later, but I don’t have any desire to go at all and I was forced into it. I hate movie theaters. They’re always too loud and there’s never any movies that I would ever care about seeing and there are too many stupid people everywhere and I could go on and on.
Let’s hope that tomorrow is at least somewhat better.

You should have expected it. That’s what happens when you apply for a job at the NSA.

Today was the day I made an important new laptop decision. Was I going to install The Sims 3 on it? Decided against. Bought The Sims 4 for it instead. Creating a test character to have my first look around.

My brother went into diabetic shock last night. Pretty scary, I had to call the paramedics. He’s okay, but just thinking that I could’ve lost my favourite brother makes me rather sad.
Wow, that is scary. I’m glad he’s okay.
I have a couple friends who are diabetic… the thought of losing any of ’em is just inconceivably awful.

How incredibly scary @Evangeline . He is fortunate to have someone close who knows how to respond in times of crisis. I echo Starr Shine?’s words – great job. I wish your brother the best of health.
