Yesterday was a pretty good day for me. I went to my best friends “birthday” party (the reason for quotations is because it was actually her twin brothers birthday more than her own) at a place called K1 Speed (basically just cart racing). It was my first time ever going to that place, so at first, I was like “oh s**t I’m gonna die” and the next second like “WOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!”. Overall, pretty fun, even though I got in last place both rounds, I don’t really care. And today, we watched “The Jungle Book” in French, aced my progress report, actually understood math, and didn’t get bread thrown at my face
Don’t ask about that last part, or question it, or recognize that it’s there….

I got my Beatles watch back after it was in for a repair due to me standing on it and breaking one of the pins that holds the metal strap together. The only material possession I actually care about.

That is why I don’t wear a watch – I’ve broken every one I’ve ever owned. That is also why I still have my indestructible flip phone made of some type of military grade rubber coating. I’ve dropped it on pavement, in puddles, you name it (yes, even a pile of horse poop) and it still works. I’ve had this one for at least five years now and I’m afraid of upgrading it because I know damn well I’ll break an iPhone or its equivalent.

I think I’ll probably end up being one of the last people on earth to wear a watch in the age of cellphones. I feel naked without it.

I’m the same way with phones.
I find watches hard to read.

I have many watches. I love watches. They can be so decorative.

I got sick of replacing the strap every 3-6 months because I kill watchstraps so no more watches. Thank god for my smartphone, its a watch, an alarm clock, a weatherstation, an mp3 player, an all-instruments tuner, a compass, a radio, and mobile internet.

BeatlebugI'm like Necko only I'm a bassist ukulele guitar synthesizer kazoo penguin and also everyone. Or is everyone me? Now I'm a confused bassist ukulele guitar synthesizer kazoo penguin everyone who is definitely not @Joe. This has been true for 2016 & 2017 but I may have to get more specific in the future.

That’s the best part
I never could remember to wear a watch or keep batteries in, so my sense of time remains dependent upon my proximity to a clock/someone with a smartphone and/or how many albums I’ve played.
As you may imagine, my sense of time is fairly abysmal…

I went to a (small) concert, and towards the end I heard this couple make an interesting comment about me:
“That little girl in the back, there’s something wrong with her, she’s weird, probably too much of that legal marijuana.”
Then after the show, they gave me a life coaching lesson, explaining how I should get my life together and not go down the wrong path.

You should have told them that they mistook you for someone who values their opinion.
