I like it better that way, I’m using a mostly invert with Aniverto. It makes the bits of white around the smileys more noticeable.
She probably is using some contrast thing. Either that or she is a wizard.

Offline Okay, I’m about to trace a new version of my Beatles sled picture (so I can go nuts with glitter gel pens) and my Amazon Music player switches – by itself – from a Sia song to Ringo’s You Bring the Party Down. I’m not kidding. As if on cue or something. o.o;
And then…it just stops playing music. Lol. Whatever.

Offline I’m staying at my mom’s apartment currently.
At 2AM last night, the smoke detector in the hall started chirping because of low battery. My mom didn’t have any extra batteries that fit and, technically, it was the landlord’s job to replace them. I attempted to go to bed with it still chirping.
God , I’m tired.
I'm Necko. I'm like Ringo except I wear necklaces.
I'm also ewe2 on weekends.

I am so jealous! I’s been 25-30 for nearly a fortnight now, and I am so utterly fed up with it! A breezy 20 degrees sounds heavenly.

I’ve spent most of the day outside in the garden varnishing, cutting, chopping etc. Been really nice.

I’ve just been told that the project I run at work is being cancelled, and that there will be redundancies. No real details yet, but I’m told there’ll be a big announcement next week, and that the project probably won’t shut down straight away. It might be that I’m still here until the end of the financial year, or they might want a swift clear-out. Or I might get redeployed somewhere else in the company.I’m hoping it’ll mean I can get a payoff and live my dream of becoming a full-time self-employed writer. I could finally finish and publish my book, write all the Paul and George album/song features I’d dearly love to work through, make the (lack of) news updates a little less of an embarrassment, add more images, videos and smileys, properly do The Beatles’ history between 1970 and the present day, and get better at promoting things on social media. I could do all that with a redundancy pay-off that meant not having to take paid work for over a year. This site has a lot of unrealised potential, but as I’ve said to the point of boring everyone, lack of time means it gets left from month to month with only minimal changes.
There are a lot of dots to cross and Is to T. If it comes to pass I could really ramp up the production here, maybe work up some other projects, and hopefully become self-sufficient with no boss! And, just as importantly, I’d be less of a stress-head and get to spend more time with my kids. Fingers are crossed…
I never thought I’d say this to anyone, but for the reasons you cited, I hope you loose your job. (man, that was hard)

Offline Been thinking that if I get contract renewal at my work in 8 weeks I would now accept it due to recent developments in other areas of life. Have returned to being committed to leaving. Makes me happier as the thought of remaining there is not a satisfying one. The staff are great, just not what I want to do.
