I’m So Tired , I haven’t slept a wink… for the past three nights. Well, I have slept a bit, of course. But not nearly enough, thanks to a bit of a heat wave. This kitty does not enjoy hot weather. I hope it cools down soon so I can get some Zzzzzzzz…. Not the most interesting thing to share. I know. But hey, that’s what’s going on In My Life .

Silly Kitty, you could never GET a Zzzzzz – you could only CATCH some. I can’t sleep when it’s hot, either, and my roommate likes to close the window at night because she gets cold, but I can’t sleep unless the room is cold, so it’s problematic for me.

Pitch a tent outside your dorm room.

Yeah, but catching them would require me to move, and just thinking of moving makes me sweat.

Put out some fly paper. I’m sure it will work for dreams.

What is fly paper? Is that that sticky stuff that flies get stuck to and then die? If that’s what it is then you shouldn’t put any of that out because it is cruel and unusual.

Make one out of sticks and blankets. This is a valuable skill forever.

Oh, it’s more than thinking of moving that makes you sweet…
Is there a media player on Windows 10? Found the libraries, but not the player! Weird new computer!

Don’t worry, fly paper doesn’t catch flies. This kind would fly around and catchs Zs that’s why it’s called fly paper.

Today, I dragged myself back to work today after 10 days off. From Sunday 1 May through Saturday 7 May, it rained every day. It. Was. Awesome.
Monday – Can’t do any landscaping – maybe I’ll read for a while and then nap on the couch with the dog.
Tuesday – Can’t mow the lawn – maybe I’ll catch up on some movies I’ve recorded and then nap on the couch with the dog until Zag comes home and then we’ll go out for dinner. Too lazy to cook.
Wednesday – Can’t (fill in the blank) – maybe I’ll (fill in the blank) and then nap on the couch with the dog.
And so on and so forth for Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
Yesterday the stupid sun was out all day – forced to mow the lawn.
Rain – I don’t mind.

Standardized testing is finally over, so I don’t have to deal with having to sit in a classroom for about 2 hours working on stuff I’m not even 100% sure about. Otherwise, I’ve got piano lessons tonight, and 34 days left of school (not including weekends) 🙂
Which Beatle is the best? There is an empirical answer, one of the few answers agreed during the Black Hole of Savile Row. You have 2,000 words. Workings must be shown in the margins.

The answer is 7. I know this because 7 is always the answer.

And 7 is the Georgey number, so George is the best Beatle. I knew it all along.
Work: 7=Best Beatle, 7=George, George=Best Beatle

If I have only 2000 words, I best not spend them all on this question.

I know it’s a typo, but day-um. How apropos.
