No idea what to say. Sorry to hear you have lost your mum and the kids their grandmother. A right crap time of the biggest proportions.
In other news just got word my own mother has been admitted into hospital with an update due tomorrow.

I'm like Necko only I'm a bassist ukulele guitar synthesizer kazoo penguin and also everyone. Or is everyone me? Now I'm a confused bassist ukulele guitar synthesizer kazoo penguin everyone who is definitely not @Joe. This has been true for 2016 & 2017 but I may have to get more specific in the future.

Wishing the best for Hong Kong Lady and meanmrmustard. When loved ones, including parents die, it can be better or worse; consider John and Paul while they were young teens losing their mums. I too lost my mother to cancer when I was 17 (then lost my brother to suicide when I was 20, then my father when I was 31).
As for currently, I’m working on my moonlighting job proofing and editing college dissertations, and the one I’m doing now is extremely tedious and boring. I rather wish I were looking through a Glass Onion , or filling the cracks that ran through the door, or resting my head on the sea bed in an Octopus’s Garden near a cave, or just staying at home doing my pretty face…

Hope your mom recovers quickly, mmm. Keep us updated.
In my life…Ahhh Mom and I made it to Washington DC. We toured Arlington National Cemetery today. We saw JFK’s gravesite with the eternal flame and the changing of the guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.

@meanmistermustard for your mum. Hope she recovers soon.
Yesterday was Silly Dad’s birthday and we took a lovely day-trip (DAY TRIPPERS YEAH) up to our favourite patch of hills. ‘Twas lovely.
…That’s why I wasn’t on all day

I didn’t have much time to visit the forum yesterday.
And that is because I made Miis of the Fabs and Led Zeppelin and put them on Classic Rock Island, which I made in Tomodachi Life!
Maybe I’ll add Pink Floyd if I get into them more…
(Also another related thingy: I checked my compatibility with them and everyone was kinda meh…
Except George, who was of 93% compatibility with me.
Jimmy may not be my husband after all… )
Edit: Annnnnd Classic Rock Island wouldn’t fit so Dream Island it is!

Thank you so much! I saw the photo from the filming of that scene and I’m like, “yup, Beatle pile on a sled, I’m gonna make it chibi”, lol.
I’m hoping to add more Beatles fan art to that page. Perhaps I should make a new section on DeviantArt for it =)

My very first post on my new laptop that I got myself for a day after my birthday present. It’s very nice. Slightly different spacing and feel to the Lenovo’s I’m used to. This is an HP. Last Lenovo I struggled with for months trying to sort out the internet. This one, connected very easy. I just had to find out what the APN was for my dongle. Once I understood that, just typed it in, and I had internet.
Just need to check the password so that it doesn’t lock me out for months like the last one did. It switched my password to my gmail password, but it wouldn’t recognise my gmail until I was logged in, and it wouldn’t let me connect to the internet with my pay as you go dongle until I was logged in. Months of horror until I found someone with a straightforward broadband connection that they could connect to for me and take it back to my original password.
So, before I switch off, check password and that it’s stayed with me typing it in without being connected.
This is a nice 2TB model. I also bought myself a 2TB external hard drive, which I suppose makes this 4TB laptop, with the external being about the size of my phone, and running off the usb instead of needing plugging into the mains.
I also got myself a very nice book on Bob called Dylan Disc By Disc where various critics, musicians, and various others are paired off and discuss one of Bob’s studio albums with the author/editor Jon Bream. I’m about to start on Bringing It All Back Home.
Also bought a couple of trashy Warhammer 40,000 books. Totally brainless junk, but brainless junk is sometimes what’s needed.
Anyway, better work out what I need to install before I forget…
