I am halfway through creating Beatles Sim characters for The Sims 3. For those who play, or would like to see what they look like, they are available at:

They are by no means perfect, since it’s hard to get a likeness down, but I may revisit them at a later date and tweak them a bit. So far, I got John and Ringo up, and will have George and Paul up before too long. =3

Offline They are murder to get right! I’ve made them too, ages ago, and though I rather liked the result, I was never really satisfied. Even in Sims 4, it’s impossible. The major problem is the limits the game imposes. Features can only be changed within set parameters and you can’t get the details right, such as the asymmetry in Paul and Ringo’s faces, which makes or breaks the likeness. It’s fun to try, though!

Offline Spent 3 days at my friend’s in Arnhem for Kingsday. Went to Arnhem and Nijmegen, which were both pretty boring, but we had fun nonetheless. We went out both the night before Kingsday, and the night on the day itself, which was better. There was a coverband playing and they played ”Hey Jude ”, which was awesome of course. Tomorrow I’ve got another party to go to, as a friend of mine is leaving for Ecuador for 5 months or something. It may sound a bit sad, but after that I think I need to be on my own for a few days.
It’s a shame that the weather sucks so bad, actually. It’s as if it’s winter, instead of nearly summer! We’ve had hail, rain and snow the past week and it’s cold as feck.

Just about to upload my George sim, I think he came out rather well, considering the limits of the game. I tried to get at least one prominent feature to stand out, just to get the point across without making them too similar (or too exaggerated). For example, Ringo’s nose, hehe.

I wrote this in a Valentine’s Day card to a friend of mine, I told her she must have inspired Shakespeare:
My mistress’ eyes are nothing like the sun;
Coral is far more red than her lips’ red;
If snow be white, why then her breasts are dun;
If hairs be wires, black wires grow on her head.
I have seen roses damasked, red and white,
But no such roses see I in her cheeks;
And in some perfumes is there more delight
Than in the breath that from my mistress reeks.
I love to hear her speak, yet well I know
That music hath a far more pleasing sound;
I grant I never saw a goddess go;
My mistress when she walks treads on the ground.
And yet, by heaven, I think my love as rare
As any she belied with false compare.
Needless to say, she didn’t talk to me for the rest of the day

It’s not the most complimentary sonnet, is it? But I would take it as a compliment 
Every time I read it, I hear it in Peter O’Toole’s voice.
Anyways, this evening I read Sonnet 102, which I post here for your pleasure because I can:
My love is strengthen’d, though more weak in seeming;
I love not less, though less the show appear;
That love is merchandized, whose rich esteeming,
The owner’s tongue doth publish every where.
Our love was new, and then but in the spring,
When I was wont to greet it with my lays;
