For some reason the contract says it is to begin on the 11th April yet I only got the contract on the 12th and sent it off today which is the 13th. All I need now is a heap of self-confidence/believe/esteem etc and we’re sorted.

You can do it mmm!

If not for us then for Bambi

Unfortunately HKL is ill with a very bad UTI; she has heaps of medicine for the bugs and the symptoms but is having trouble keeping them down long enough for them to have an effect. Fingers are crossed that she doesn’t end up in hospital – her daughter has stayed home from work to care for her.

Great news, @meanmistermustard. Remember, The Beatles contract predated them meeting GM.

Get well soon @Beatlebug (when I suggested having a silly birthday, I wasn’t suggesting you be so silly as to get any bug but Beatle!) and @HongKongLady.

I’m off to Argos
‘Bout an hour’s time
32 inches
For less than 139 (pounds, sterling)

Buying a TV
Stop me going out of my mind
Can’t afford it
But it helps pass the time

Just have to swallow
A very broke month
But I’ll have a
New TV before before lunch

Buying a TV
‘Cause it helps pass the time
Can’t afford it
But it stops me going out of my mind …

When it comes to meanmister-mustering up confidence and/or self esteem, imagine the person you are interacting with just made a factual error about the Beatles or gave you a commemorative set of Beatles shoelaces. If that doesn’t make your chest stick out, nothing will.

SG, are you over the cold?

trc, how is HKL?

Is the tv working ok, RN?

Are you still on vaca, LULG?

I returned a pair of shoes to Amazon. So now I have a $109.95 credit on my Amazon account. Should I blow it frivolously or wait and use it for something I need down the road?

Hey, you. a-hard-days-night-paul-11 I needed shoes. I have since ordered another pair that fit like a glove.

I’m sure there’s some officially licensed Apple products that I could waste some $$$ on.
