I went to an estate sale for a guy who used to own a record store in Chicago. He had a ton of really cool stuff lots of albums and posters and stuff. Unfortunately, we got there on the second day and it was pretty picked over. The good stuff that was left was way overpriced.
Nonetheless, I did get two things.
A Radiohead poster promoting the release of Amnesiac in 2001.
(Like this one. Not this one.)
And a Coke can from the 1980 Olympics.
(Like this one. Not this one.)
I'm Necko. I'm like Ringo except I wear necklaces.
I'm also ewe2 on weekends.
Most likely to post things that make you go hmm... 2015, 2016, 2017.

Google Translate is your friend (unless you actually want to translate something so it makes sense – in that case it might be a friend but is probably not)
Google Translate isn’t as good as AppleScruffTranslate. Plus the word Scruff is not an easy word to translate to another language.

^GT is horrendous, I always laugh at what they come up with- particularly with Irish it’s horrible.
(Thankfully it’s bad, if it ever gets good then your average-Joe translator won’t be getting hired any more…well that’s already starting to happen anyways )

Yesterday , I saw my favorite musical ever and it was one of the most moving experiences of my life (corny, I know). Then when I went to a restaurant, It Don’t Come Easy was playing.
It was a good day.

Just had my annual skin check (white men in the tropics and all that). A bit worrying – one lump off for biopsy. Hopefully it’s nothing and we can just freeze it. If it’s something we should have caught it early enough that some surgery will fix it. Results back next week – fingers crossed.

Hoping for the best, trc.
In my life, today we begin the process of “transfer of knowledge” at work because we are losing 4 people. My head is already spinning and aching.

Went through the same thing about a year ago – all turned out fine as I’m sure you will be. Still worrisome until you know for sure. Best of luck!

To a generic blues riff…
Woke up this mornin’
My TV was dead
Sat staring blankly
Hands to my headOh, it’s evil
What am I gonna do?
Oh, it’s evil
What am I gonna view?Yeah, woke up this mornin’
My TV had died
Now just a black box
No pictures left insideOh, it’s evil
What am I gonna view?
Oh, it’s evil
What am I gonna do? …
Best wishes with the skin thing. @trcanberra.

Been having a pretty good birthday so far…
First, I went to the guitar shop with some mates of mine, and we spent a couple hours in there with me playing everything I could get my hands on. Noteworthy episodes include endless ‘Devil And The Deep Blue Sea’ on a variety of ukes, ‘Wish You Were Here’ on a 12-string guitar, ‘Money’ on a Fender Precision bass (which ended up getting stuck in one of the lads’ head, poor thing– ’tis what I do best, getting songs stuck in peoples’ heads), ‘Birthday ‘ on a Hofner Violin bass (of course), and lots of Fender bending.
Then we went for lunch in a cafe downtown, and as I walked in I heard the unmistakable strains of ‘Money’ playing… and if that weren’t enough, they proceeded to play Come Together , Hey Jude , a Macca-live version of Let It Be , and Nowhere Man .
Yes

On a somewhat amusing note; just now I had to change the dressing on the top of my head where they did the biopsy. I don’t have much hair but getting the original dressing off was still a little difficult and removed most of what little was left up there. As my son is away in Sydney for the school break I then I had to put a new dressing on myself using the mirror to try and guide the padded part over the wound. Working in reverse seems not to be my “thing”.
I’m sure it will be fine if the sticky bit got over the stitch rather than the padded bit – it’s still got some protection – right??
Well, I found it oddly amusing 😉

Reminds me of when Homer lost his last three hairs on his head in an episode in The Simpson’s.
I cannot do the mirror reverse either.
I do hope all things turn out right for you @trcanberra.
Me, I’ve been offered a 25 hour per week 3 month contract by who I’ve been doing casual no-contract as it comes shifts for since last September. Runs until the second week in July.
For some reason the contract says it is to begin on the 11th April yet I only got the contract on the 12th and sent it off today which is the 13th. All I need now is a heap of self-confidence/believe/esteem etc and we’re sorted. Oh and to know my life plan.
