Offline The Immigration folks in HK should be returning to work today after the Chinese New Year break.
Here’s hoping they process HKL’s visa soon and that the outcome is positive. Approving the last one was a good sign but this one is for a significantly longer period.
Still no word from my job interview in late December, so of course I am applying for lots more jobs just in case.

Offline I sang the national anthem at a hockey game. It was fun, although I was scared because I felt so out of place in a sports setting. XD Don’t even get me started on the microphone. Anyhoo, I sing all these professional, high-sounding things but people don’t seem to realize I want to pursue rock. It’s hard to explain if you’ve heard my voice. I prefer using its coloratura for rock and not classical or Broadway (although I do love singing songs from Phantom and Les Mis). Sort of like Pat Benatar. With rock, I can write my own music and improvise on covers. The only thing that’s deprived from doing classical is the process of writing that I can’t do without–plus, you know, the guitars.
I was wondering if anyone here has any experience with demos. My friend and I want to send one in but just started doing research on the process. My biggest question is whether to email it to a company or send it by mail. I’d gladly take any information anyone has on this.
