More than a week ago, a job recruiter sent me an electronic mail with a number to call about a job opportunity. I’ve called her three times and have gotten voicemail every single time. I’d say it’s likely that she’s taking time off during the holiday season.
A little update: she never called back. It’s probably safe to say that she never will. Maybe the position’s been filled.

Keep going @Necko. You’ll get something soon. Would be good if bosses and those seeking workers had the decency to let folk know if the answer was no but then maybe they don’t have enough time.
Glad to hear you got the most favourable of results @Ron Nasty. Keep as positive as you can and know that we are always about if you fancy a bit of a grumble. 
I’ve been offered some shadow shift work in a different sector of where I currently am employed. Nothing to lose as I get more hours in a week than I was going to get in a month, so more money (not what I am about so not a nice admission but need to be practical about eating and paying for electricity and warmth and other stuff), and if its not me I don’t have to take it on.
My job interview last week was postponed because the boss was ill. 
And its been snowing heavily all day. Been out twice in it and will go out again. Its beautiful out there, all white and crisp and scrunchy under your feet yet not that cold. And its not getting dark at 3:30pm, we’re now up to 4:30pm before its getting dark. 
Here is a rare photo from about 5 minutes from where I live. Its deeper now. I’m going back out later when my camera battery is charged, the below was taken using my iPod.

Offline We got a little snow this morning, but it has pretty much all melted now. Last weekend, we had more snow that stuck around longer. It was very pretty…the kind that covers the grass and sticks on the sides of trees, houses, and road signs but doesn’t stick to the streets and cause traffic problems…in other words perfect.
Let us know if this other job is your cup of tea, mmm.

Online Still snowing outside. Very light but still snow.
Its as deep as any time before I can remember and you can see for miles even tho its past 11pm.
It is a-flippin’-mazing out there. Stunning in how beautiful it is. We’re talking cheesy christmas card scenery.

Offline Going out with my nana for “Christmas”. Since she didn’t come over for real Christmas, we’re just going out. Also mentally preparing for getting braces tomorrow. Luckily, I already have a color in mind, so I don’t have to waste a bunch of time on that.
Oh, and since I never gave an update for going to my councilor, I’ll do that now. Went to guidance on Thursday. She told me that she’d tell their councilor (there’re two different ones at my school, the kids were assigned a different one from me) and if they don’t stop, just simply tell my councilor again. It seemed to be pretty much gone. Now I can celebrate by having a dance party while listening to music 🙂
