Day number “I’m too lazy to count, why am I counting again?”: the situation hasn’t changed much since I last posted. The nickname has mostly gone away. It’s mainly just in my English class where no matter how many times I tell them to call my Kaitlyn, they don’t care at all. I’m probably just going to go see my councilor as soon as possible (hopefully tomorrow). Oh, and you know how I said she was going to check in on me at some point? Yeah, as you can clearly tell, that never happened. Only reason I’m not doing it Friday is because A) I don’t want to deal with this any longer and B) we don’t even have school Friday. Otherwise, it’s not going that bad, just benchmarks and tests that I really don’t care for

My brother stole €50 off me and I know he did.

Over the Christmas I noticed that I was missing a note that I hadn’t spent anywhere because I hadn’t gone anywhere. I spent a week turning my room upside down looking for the  damn thing before I started making accusations. Anyhoo I told my mam and she said she’d ask my brother today while I was at work. Normally if you accuse him of something he hasn’t done, he starts yelling and generally loses it but this time he went red and looked awkward then started laughing

Prick >.< and I’ll probably never get it back.

He’ll probably feel guilty about it when he is around 50 years’ old and pay you back then.

Ask him for interest.

I Don’t Want To Spoil The Party so I better go. I’m sitting in the corner wringing my hand waiting for news from, @Ron Nasty.

Carry on with the party. If you all or any of our guests would like a Dr. Pepper, I have plenty of cold ones in the fridge. Have at it.

i know  how you feel it’s not easy  specially  we are too far away from @Ron Nasty we just hope  and pray  that  the doctors will  do their  best to our  beloved  friend  @Ron Nasty

Hi folks, I’m back!

Was discharged from hospital this afternoon after a week of being prodded and probed (at a slower rate than expected because of the doctors strike on Tuesday).

The diagnosis is good: Stage I. I couldn’t have hoped for more really. The outcomes, I’m told, when caught at this stage are very good.

It still means a trying time ahead, and some treatments that I’m not expecting to be much fun, but it’s not quite as scary now I know exactly what I’m dealing with.

I will need to go back into hospital in a couple of weeks or so for surgery — a local resection done by TEMS (I think those are the right terms). I could have stayed in and had it done today, but that would have meant me being in over the weekend. I didn’t fancy that. I was already going stir crazy. And when given the choice, and being assured a couple of weeks would not adversely affect things, I decided I wanted some time at home.

I’ve been prodded and probed where they’re prodding and probing enough for one week. I don’t have a date for the surgery yet, the ongoing situation with the doctors industrial action (who I fully support) makes things a little fluid. It will probably be around the end of the month, beginning of next month though.

And then there’s whatever chemotherapy they decide is necessary to follow…

I wish to thank you all again for your best wishes and kind thoughts.

I’ve been planning to go to a live performance of Beethoven’s 7th Symphony by the Australian Youth Orchestra later today.

But my son has been in Sydney visiting his mother and managed to sleep in too long and miss his train home yesterday, and is now due back later today – and will need a lift home from the station because of his suitcase.

Guess what time??

Don’t you hate the way the universe works sometimes??

Nice suggestion thanks, unfortunately the concert begins at 4.30 and the bus is due in at 5 or so. It’s okay, I was going to get a ticket at the door so I can catch them next time they are in town.
