Whew!
Currently panting and perspiring profusely because Little Girl and I have been dancing like a lot of barmy Beatlemaniacs 
to Past Masters 1. We weren’t exactly professional about it, just put the CD on and started stomping. It was so much fun.

Offline I hope you kept the noise down so as not to irritate your parents. 
I handed CV’s out around my local town so will see if there is any return on my efforts. The big thing is that I did it as my anxiety levels generally hold me back. So woooo me.

As for my life, as I should say “it’s (slowly) Getting Better all the time!”. Since I told the vice principal about it, they exactly followed through and told my teachers and now all of them are fully aware. I think I was only called that nickname like 6 times (minus the people who almost said it, then basically went “wait a sec…” and used my real name). Wasn’t even told to shut up once. The joke I didn’t like was only mentioned once, but I stopped caring about it forever ago, especially since it was going away. Guidance might ask tomorrow, I must assume (I have a class with my councilor tomorrow and on Wednesday) so I’ll just tell ’em it’s basically ending.

My dad and my uncle are on a bowling league and I came along with them. I used to be on a league myself and own my own ball and shoes, but I haven’t bowled with any regularity in the past five years, so I was/am very out of practice. I played four games by myself with two personae – my real name versus Necko – essentially playing eight games. I played league-style, so I used two lanes, with no delay between throws. I wouldn’t recommend essentially playing eight games in a row. Gawd, it is tiring. I was sweating like a pig, my thumb and middle finger were full of stinging cuts, and I felt like I would pass out by the end of it.Still, it was a lot of fun.
…and I am way still feeling it in my back, wrists, and hands.
I'm Necko. I'm like Ringo except I wear necklaces.
I'm also ewe2 on weekends.

Offline My brother stole €50 off me and I know he did.
Over the Christmas I noticed that I was missing a note that I hadn’t spent anywhere because I hadn’t gone anywhere. I spent a week turning my room upside down looking for the damn thing before I started making accusations. Anyhoo I told my mam and she said she’d ask my brother today while I was at work. Normally if you accuse him of something he hasn’t done, he starts yelling and generally loses it but this time he went red and looked awkward then started laughing

As for me, everything and everyone has been bugging me. First, it’s telling me to “shut up” in class when I said a sentence, now some stupid nickname that some popular kid made, and now the only people that don’t call me the nickname are my friends. Every time I say “I prefer to be called Kaitlyn” they ask “Why?”. “Because it bugs me” is what I reply with. They just keep asking “why?” until I can get them to shut the hell up.
“Illegitimi non carborundum” was one of my dad’s favorite sayings. You may or may not end up getting help from guidance or “friends” or family, but never give up on yourself. Know that you are a good person and not what they are calling you or deserving of ridicule. Keep your head high, keep the faith, and you’ll be harvesting peace and love long before they reap anything more than an icy wind.
If they are so concerned about whether you “like” someone, my guess is someone likes you and is trying to find out if they have a chance. Probably not, if they enlist pests to do their research for them.
