‘Dok Golab.’
Sounds like the name of an Orc don’t it?
But it’s ‘Thai’ for ‘Rose’………William knew what he was about
Anyway…….. I think Tr and HK are what the Thai’s would describe as ‘King tong bai yok” a ‘gold branch with a Jade leaf’……..They go well together.

Or maybe they will move to Wales and take on new identities as Mr&Mrs Wales.
Unfortunately – as HKL foreshadowed above – she is now on her way back to HK so name changes are in temporary abeyance.
There have been some interesting suggestions; as a Tolkien fan I think MrBliss and MrsBliss might come close when the day arrives 😉
PS Just back from the round trip to Sydney after dropping the lovely lady at the airport.

That’s heavy.
Part I is a masterpiece. I was never a big fan of Part II although I am one of the weird ones who prefers the 2015 segment to the Back-to-the-50s part. I kind of feel they just rehashed the 1st film but that’s an unpopular opinion.
Anyways, t’is a fine set of films so it is.

STONE ASJ, SHE PREFERS THE 2015 PART!!!!
I hadn’t seen part II until now–only I and III–and I think I still prefer those. Part II is really only a bridge over troubled water between the other two, think.
And hey, Micheal J. Fox is even shorter than Ringo/Dhani/me!
Oh, yeah, and as it turned out, I didn’t get to sleep till midnight. Course, I didn’t have to listen to Brainwashed…

I love BTTF, though I feel part III was a bit of a let-down. Part I was by far my favourite.
In my life, I’ve been immensely busy, school has been absolutely killing me. Luckily it’s only a few days until the holidays.
A certain something, or someone rather, has also been keeping me busy…
This guy that I’ve had a crush on for a couple of months asked me out last week. I’m incredulously happy and still can’t really believe it. He’s really really great.

Had a play rehearsal today. I have one line as a Fairy Godmother so far. Also, I’m apparently a woodland creature tree (in shorter terms, a tree) and have no idea what’s going to happen for that part
Besides the play, my life is just filled with rude people. Some kids were making fun of me because I apparently ate a piece of chicken from the ground that they threw at me (?????), but that was really just me, sitting with a few friends, eating my lunch. My friends even backed me up when this started going ’round my Math Applications class. For the rest of the class, the same people wouldn’t be quiet or stop asking me questions that they think are “hilarious”. Some kid even threw a pencil bag at my face. Luckily, I was paying attention, so I smacked it out of my way.
So that was my day. I’ve come to the conclusion to not trust 3/4 of the people in that class and my gym class

natureaker, that sounds like behavior you should report to a trusted teacher or counselor. That behavior goes beyond rude into bullying.

Thanks. Strangely enough, these are the same kids that tell me how bad I am at playing basketball, or quittich (however you spell it) or whatever the hell we’re doing. I’ll try to get the chance to tell my guidance councilor when I can
The saddest thing, is that all the 21st Century Skills classes are learning about bullying and that you should be an upstander. We even watched the movie “Bully” and I may or may not have teared up…..

Natureaker,
The old saying ‘Sticks and stones may break my bones but names will never hurt me’ is frankly bollox.
Names hurt…….Intimidation hurts. And they hurt for a lot longer than bruises………Bruises will heal in days……….This intimidation will go on.
Speak to someone at home about this…….And decide what you can do about it.
A threat faced up to is halved.

As everyone else says @natureaker tell someone you trust as soon as you can. If after you do nothing changes and the ratbags continue either tell the same person or someone else. Don’t be intimidated by the brats.

I’m making homemade vegetable soup for the first time.
I’ve thrown in tons of veg, pasta, vegetable broth mix (lentils, yellow split peas etc), tinned tomatoes and 1 pint of stock + all the seasoning. No idea how it will turn out.

With those ingredients, there is no way it could turn out poorly.
To the fountain of perpetual mirth, let it roll for all its worth. And all the children boogie.

Hopefully. I hate pre-packaged soup, every time i’ve eaten any i’ve thrown up. Put me off for years.
Hopefully getting a blender for Christmas so can make healthy fruit and veg drinks.
