I’m sick.  My throat hurts (admittedly less than yesterday), I have a really bad cough, my nose is constantly running, and my eyes decide to water at the most inconvenient times.  I should be working on a paper, but I just feel too damn awful to get anything done today.

I'm Necko.  I'm like Ringo except I wear necklaces.

I'm also ewe2 on weekends.

Most likely to post things that make you go hmm... 2015, 2016, 2017.

:-( Hope you get better soon, @Necko.

Have you been to the chiropractor yet?

Did the trip to Colorado go ok?

The tagging thing isn’t working on my phone right now, so this is directed at the post above.

I have been to the chiropractor a few times now.

I got back from Colorado about two weeks ago (I think). We went whitewater rafting, ate at a bunch of cool restaurants, went to a legal pot shop, used my aunt’s hot tub, visited the state park that my aunt works at, etc. Some of the other members of my family hiked up a mountain (not me. I felt self-conscious about my bad hips/back and decided not to go).

@Necko, whitewater rafting is an adventure!

I am working on the travel arrangements (flights, hotel room, car rental) to bring in a job candidate for an interview from Colorado. I have Colorado on the brain.

Is this traveling free for the interviewee? If so how do we go about applying and getting on the short list, i quite fancy a trip to America?

@meanmistermustard

Yes, it is free for the interviewee.

How to get to make that expenses-paid trip: First, obtain your Master of Library and Information Science (M.L.I.S) degree from an American Library Association accredited university. That shouldn’t cost you more than $15,000 and 18 months of your life if you work steady and hard at it. There are some schools that offer the degree completely online so you can sit in the comfort of your home and work away on it. Then apply for the job with a killer resume and cover letter. Remember to tailor your cover letter to the job announcement.

I’ll be awaiting your application if we ever have another open position in the library. I have at least 10 more years to go here, so I bet there will be at least one more open position.

Hate those – hope you ride it out ok.  When I was in Brisbane before moving down here to Canberra we used to get some crazy tropical storms.  We get a few down here but nothing like that thank goodness.

$15,000? I was saving up for those limited edition Genesis publication books on Yoko and The Beatles. Schucks!! a-hard-days-night-paul-3

I am having to type “7D” about 150 times into the correct fields in this database. No, I can’t do them all at once. I wish I could. At least I’m not having to type “1D” blue-meanie

On the flip side, I am getting to type the number 9 just as many times.a-hard-days-night-john-6

@ScrambledEggs I didn’t see that when you posted.

Congratulations! Amazing scores! I remember how worried you were about that scholarship, so it’s great that you can finally have some peace of mind.

The whole musician “career” is also very cool! Maybe you’ll be able to make something out of it. Either way, you sound like you’re having fun, so congrats!

Thank you @mr-kite! And everyone else, for the all support :)

I promised to post the set-list and I’m sorry I didn’t, I spaced out for a while. A friend of mine had a horrible car accident and is right now in a coma. The doctors are positive and assure us that she will wake up any time now.
