Oh my, trc – I wish you the worst (like telling an actor to break a leg). I tried wishing you the best and now it’s all this.
Chin up, my friend. It could be worse.

I have the early phases of a cold which is really not good. Drinking a cold and flu concoction and tomorrow i’m going to go shopping before possibly hibernating for a few days. My body cannot cope with the change from almost cold to bloody freezing and soaking wet every time winter comes.
Storm Abigail (what a crappy name) is coming and here might get some of it, certainly heavy rain is coming – again.
I need to move to Hawaii at the end of October and not return until the beginning of April – or when the clocks change.

No, I don’t imagine they do. Who would want to waste daylight on purpose?

I just got my second spinal injection. The first one helped so much. This second one should keep me pain-free for a while.

Ouch, I hate injections- last one I got was for cervical cancer and I thought I’d faint after getting it- I could feel the needle in my arm and then the vaccine being pushed out- yuck!

Are you phobic of needles?
Also, since when has there been a vaccine for a cancer?

Yes I hate needles (and large spiders), that one scene in Saw II where the woman has to jump into a pool of used needles to get a key- scares the living daylights out of me. I’d think I’d rather die than jump in there.
It’s been out for a good while over here (since 2009? I think), although there are serious investigations being done now because a good few girls have experienced strange side-effects such as dizziness, lethargy, joint-pain etc.
Girls who are 12-14 generally get it, I had a nice nurse though who was telling me about the time she went to see Michael Jackson in Cork so she kept my mind off it slightly.

HPV vaccine http://www.cancer.gov/about-ca…..fact-sheet
They give you plenty of pain medication before these injection. The stick/prick they give you to put the IV port in is the only part of the procedure that hurts. You’d think they could numb the area first, dang it.
