Writing a Zeppelin inspired acoustic hard rock instrumental.
I messed around with the tuning this morning until I got a sound I wanted and thought of a little progression. Although, I recorded a pretty good beginning and thought of another part so my original idea might not be in the final song and it may be less hard rock.
Stairway to Heaven???
Or it could start out like “A Day In The Life ” and have a change up!!!!
Or Strawberry Fields with 2 parts of the song merged together!

@MrMoonlight_1 I’m so glad to hear that finally your life is turning out well for you! I think it’s amazing how you’ve overcome your struggles and found ways to deal with them, and how you have found new things to focus on. Stay true to yourself and go chase those dreams (that must be the cheesiest thing I’ve ever said) and don’t let anybody get in your way. You know what you are capable of now.

Offline Having the impetus i thought i’d add the complete Lennon ’75 -> ’80 demo’s i got recently to my itunes, delete the few duplicates and be done in a hour. Turns out its not going to be as simple as the complete set is not complete now as upgrades came out after, which i already have, and so its turned into a long arduous task of figuring out what came from where and when.
Yes this may be incredibly dull for you all to read but i needed to grumble.

Offline And a Happy Birthday from me as well, cra.
I logged in to share some awesome news with you guys. As I might have mentioned before, I’m in Germany for two weeks already, and three more to follow. My *career* as a street-musician has led me to numerous adventures and interesting people. And so it happened that a lovely woman, and I quote, “fell in love with [my] Beatles-songs repertoire”, and that same woman owns a restaurant. So guess who gets to play there? Me! Here I am now, writing my very Beatley set-list for tonight. Wish me luck?
Another bit of good news is that I’ve finally recieved my Matura-examination results, and they are very, very good. I got 99.9% on the Macedonian language exam, 98.65% in Maths and 98.64% in English. Which means I’m almost definitely getting a scholarship and won’t have to pay for university, and therefore be able to actually attend!

Offline Congratulations @ScrambledEggs on the amazing results and on getting the scholarship (i’m sure you will get it with those results). Scholarships aren’t just given out to anyone so you obviously worked damn hard and therefore deserve it.
And further congratulations on the music gig, how did it go? What was your set-list? Do you get to go back for a return performance? Does it lead to other opportunities? Sorry for all the questions.

Offline Thank you all so much! Yes, I’m glad my studying all these years is beginning to pay-off.
@meanmistermustard, the gig will be tonight at 18:00 and I’ll make sure to post a picture of my set-list tomorrow. They said I’m welcome to play as often as I’d like whenever I’m here in Germany. I’m a little nervous because I’m used to playing on the street and in Macedonian restaurants and cafe’s, and even though I don’t think I’d ever make a music career, this is still a place where people who care about good music go. And don’t apologize for the questions, I can only thank you for being interested!
