Offline Hi there everyone I’m back. Yay. School’s just been a grind these past few weeks and I haven’t had the chance to get on. But here I am.
So I’ll update y’all on my emotional condition. Still friends with that girl I was with before so everything turned out ok and I’ve pretty much gotten over that although there are some times when I relapse for lack of a better word, which is to be expected. Anyways, I’ve been thinking of trying to talk to a girl that my friend said that I should date like a few months ago. I was kinda thinking of maybe asking her to homecoming but there’s only two weeks for that and I haven’t talked to her in my life so maybe that might not be a good idea although my friend said she wouldn’t really care. She’s also a senior too so that’s a small problem. And also she’s kinda been having a weird relationship with my other friend who has a girlfriend so he kinda has two girlfriends and they’re all fine with it. That may have ended last week tho from what I’ve heard. So idk what to do. There’s also another girl who kinda flirts with me and I’m not really sure if she likes me or something. But I doubt she does because I don’t think I’m her type.
But yeah. There’s that.
Completely unrelated, but there’s a French exchange student in my Adv. Drama class so now I have someone to talk to in French yay

@UnidentifiedFiendishThingy, I concur with the others. Just do it – take the plunge, ask one out. If she says no, ask another. I do understand your hestitance, at your age I was very shy about romance. But if I could do one thing over, I would ask people out whenever I felt like it – a no response leaves you no worse off, and your confidence will build as you realize you have the courage to ask and the strength to handle a negative response…or, a yes response and you’ll be on top of the world. Two weeks is plenty of time, do it before someone else asks them. There’s a match out there for everyone, I believe.

Offline As far as the trip is going, we are taking a day off driving, spending a day in Minneapolis with a dear friend of mine and watching the American football. That was a good game over there today – we didn’t watch it as we went out to breakfast. And then this…
You may be aware the President Obama has gone back on his promise to get our boys and girls out of Afghanistan. This infuriated me, and I sent him the following – I encourage you to do the same!
President Obama, we have supported you through thick and thin, throughout your presidency. But your announcement that we would keep our troops in Afghanistan really upsets me. The mideast wars have gone on as long as Vietnam and the results are the same. We’ve lost that war, Mr.President. Bring the Boys and Girls back home!!!

Offline The MTV European Music Awards is on and as i cannot find anything else to watch for 5 minutes I decided to have it on whilst googling to see who was performing and if i’d ever heard of them, (exciting isn’t it). Half i’ve heard of but no chance i’d know the song – i have no chance of making it thru 10 minutes never mind the full 135 minutes.
Anyway according to wiki there is the award for ‘Biggest Fans‘. Unless everyone who proclaims to be a fan of each nominated act is weighed and an average is taken how is that judged? Do the fans vote and the highest number wins?
Ok someone is singing and it sounds like a very bad Michael Jackson outtake from his dodgy later period that he threw in the garbage for being just too rubbish. Actually if they took off the really crap vocal you’d get a decent backing track that could be made into a good song.
And before anyone says anything about it being music from 2015 so must be crap have a look at the concerts the Beatles performed at in the 60’s; some of those artists and songs were ghastly as well.
Edit: Scrap that last sentence. Justin Beiber just won ‘Best Male’. Lock the gates, board them up and close down music. Its dead.
