Annadog40 muttered
I’d drive but I probably would end up driving on the “wrong” side of the road.

Just as I read this post, Annadog’s eyes wide-opened at me like she was communicating

T’was an odd moment.

Anyway, last I checked we drive on the right side of the road in our fair state of North Carolina… about to go out so I will check again.

Sorry to hear your crap news, @Linde. Mere words are inadequate but know I’m sending heart heart heart

So sorry to hear the bad news @Linde. No words come to mind when one hears news like that. Be strong. Oudis.

Uhhh I just came back from the worst audition I think I’ve ever done. It was for a stupid community musical group who are doing ‘Guys and Dolls’ next year. It went wrong for a variety of reasons:

1. I was auditioning for Adelaide who is meant to be in her mid-30s but I haven’t auditioned for a large play in about 2 years so I wanted to get back into the swing of things even if I knew I wouldn’t get the part.

2. When I went in, instead of doing a harsh New York accent, I did a weird hybrid Southern-NY accent until about halfway down the page I finally settled on NY.

3. When I started singing the damn song, I forgot the tune of it halfway through it and mispronounced a word and I f*cked up the long note.

When I went out everyone applauded and I could see the pity in their eyes as I tried not to cry and then I eventually walked home and cried.

So it was a good day….a-hard-days-night-paul-7

I hate being overly-emotional, I can’t handle myself being bad or wrong at anything- I just burst into pathetic tears a-hard-days-night-ringo-13

All highly successful actors suffer bad auditions @AppleScruffJunior. At least you’re not proving the backing music for a stripper in a dodgy nightclub.

Just dont forget us when we pitch up on your doorstep in 20 years time looking for a cup of tea and $20 after you’ve become a legend of Broadway.

Awww thank you, that’s sweet apple01 If I had gotten the part I would have been a lead-showgirl so not far off a stripper only I kept the (majority) of my clothes on.

I’ll bring you a Tony 😉

I feel you ASJ. I had to walk out of an audition a couple weeks ago because I just couldn’t do it. Like I had a breakdown right when I was registering so I decided to pretend that I forgot that I had a doctors appt and ran out of there and then cried my way home. Its been a crazy last few weeks so I havent really had much time to post here paul-mccartneybut I’ll try and update you all.

So school has been really busy. But I like all my classes especially having Drama and stagecraft as the last classes of the day. So that’s going ok. I built a computer a couple of weeks ago. Its quite good. So that’s cool. I’ve been having a really weird relationship with a girl and we’ve been going from being basically together to now not being that close. So that’s not cool. So as you can see by my very emotionless writing that my life has been filled with a multitude of emotions.

Now comes the funner part.

So I didnt really get any birthday presents except for a shirt that my parents got me and a cake that that girl got for me. So I was feeling kinda bummed out that nothing really special happened for my 16th birthday. But then yesterday my parents said that we were going to a restaurant. So they made me wear my very colourful paisley shirt and my beatle boots, which I bought a few weeks back. They’re fab btw.

So I figured out that we were actually going to a Beatles tribute musical. paul-mccartneypaul-mccartneypaul-mccartneypaul-mccartneypaul-mccartneypaul-mccartneypaul-mccartney

Its called In My Life and that was one of the most amazing experiences ever. The band was called Abbey Road and they were quite good. The musical was told in the perspective of Brian and was quite interestingly put together. I don’t really have much else to say because it was just soooooo cool paul-mccartneypaul-mccartneypaul-mccartneypaul-mccartneypaul-mccartneypaul-mccartneypaul-mccartney

Ok I’ve wasted enough of your lives, sorry for the long post a-hard-days-night-paul-11

Aw, your parents are swell to surprise you with such a wonderful birthday present!

So you and the religious girl aren’t close anymore. That’s probably for the best.

Well I mean we’re still very close. But not as close as before. We still are sort of together. Idk how to explain. She hasnt really spoken about religion at all lately. I think she was just using that to try and make me not like her. I still like her maybe even love her and I think she loves me too but she’s just afraid of what will happen.  Its hard to explain the situation.

Does savage mean good nowadays? In my day it meant vicious, brutal etc.

Nobody says “savage” as cool anymore, I’m just 10 years behind everybody else and I refuse to move on.

I hate not having been here in two weeks and then showing up and not having anything positive to say, but alas.

I’m sick in bed and my aunt has cancer, and she has it in more place than one so we’re expecting the worst. It was a rough week.

On a brighter note, I’m getting very positive feedback at my internship and the kids had to fill in a list with what they thought about everything, and they all like me so at least I got that going for me. All sounds a bit meaningless though.

*hugs* hopefully you’re feeling better and back to your excellent internship. Hopefully your aunt won’t have it too hard 😐 Make the most of every moment that comes your way, with her and in everything…you never know what tomorrow may bring.

Half of what I say is meaningless...

I feel good in a special way, I'm in love and it's a sunny day

Hi all. Just for info – HKL and I had a temporary misunderstanding – after a brief poinking I have seen the light.

Cheers for now and thanks for all the fish.

Sorry to hear that @trcanberra tho better to find out now than when it gets further down the line and its more difficult and painful to untangle. Not that that helps much.

Take care and dont be gone for too long. apple01

It sure will be quiet without yourself and silly girl around. And possibly HKL too.

Well, I’ve been doing a lot of Internet surfing and reading many articles (history, religion, biographies, etc.) on online encyclopedias lately (I wish I had the money to buy the Encyclopedia Britannica). Today I started reading about Chuang Tzu who dreamed he was a butterfly (you all know the story, don’t you?) and ended up with the paradoxes of Zeno of Elea (Achilles and the tortoise is the most famous one, and the one I knew before reading this article). It seems I intuit Chinese mysticism better than logical (?) paradoxes –they puzzled me. But I’ve been feeling I am the reincarnation of an Old Chinese mystic philosopher for a long, long time anyways.

I’ve never heard of Chang Tzu never mind having heard the story of his dreaming he was a butterfly.

His dream would go in the Dreams thread instead of the Beatles Dreams thread…unless that butterfly turned into John, Paul, George, or Ringo. I don’t know the story.

This song has helped out a friend recently. Maybe @UnidentifiedFiendishThingy might enjoy it.

Setting my activities around the Rugby World Cup……….Got a short doze in during the day……went to bed at 8pm…….Alarm for 1:30….

Despite the tired, snotty superior stereotypes the English can never watch England play anything with any sort of confidence.

So finger’s crossed.
