^ You wouldn’t ask them to stop first? The key word in my post was “keep”; i’d get my solicitor to write them a letter first as it can be tricky telling someone not to phone – they might take it wrong.
If Im the one to called you every morning and to greet you a happy birthday every day, are you still to tell to your solicitor?

Definitely. For one its not my birthday every day so you’d be a nuisance caller.
What if I made it your birthday every day?

I’d be in hell. One birthday a year is more than enough – i’m not actually that keen on that.

You’re in your saturnine, ‘bah humbug’ mood today I notice. That knee of yours must be hurting.
I still get some gyp from my knee……I don’t like to talk about it.
………..It’s an old war wound you see….
………I did it kneeling on a lead soldier when I was 8!

The physical therapist showed me two exercises today that he wants me to start doing. I see him two times a week for a while until I learn all the things he thinks will help me.

Its incredibly weird and scary as hell at first. I was crapping myself going at anything near 13mph never mind 30mph. Now its hard to control the boredom doing 50mph in a 70mph area because your instructor needs to be able to be able to act quickly when you balls it up.
Anyway if your instructor is anything like mine @AppleScruffJunior you’ll be fortunate if you drive for any serious amount of time as the first day is getting to know all the safety stuff, the layout of the car and discussing what the brakes are for.

In Ireland you can drive a motorbike or tractor at age 16 but you have to be 17 to learn how to drive a car. In America (I believe) you can learn when you’re 15-16 (mostly), that’s not that much of a difference.
Update: I’m alive and I didn’t kill anyone. Although the tailback I created will be spoken of for generations to come- in all fairness I was going a solid 40-50 km/ph so boo to them. I’m so short, it’s a pain to reach everything and push down on the clutch fully . That and I got the sh*tiest afternoon you could have for driving, t’was lashing rain

In some states it’s 16 (for example Utah, Kentucky, Maryland, Massachusetts) in others 14 (e.g. Arkansas, Iowa) as the Google has taught me, although imagining Irish 14 year olds driving is a horrific thought.

True, we do start drinking at around 12-14 so…. the powers of the universe balance out?
But the images of 14 year olds driving is terrifying though- knowing our young sprats, they’d probably be driving home from nights-out drunk with their friends
