I thought you went to school in your basement. Who are these other “students,” and who is commenting on your fashion sense?
- For the
thousandthsecond time, I don’t have a basement. - The world is my schoolhouse.
- I’m taking an American Literature class.

Day 3 of middle school: nothing new. The teachers are just going over safety rules for the thousandth time in every class. Had my first class in 2D/3D art. And again, we went over the same rules I heard in art on day 1 (it’s the same teacher for both classes). Also got my gym locker, which was the probably the least exciting class of the day. We sat on the bleachers for a while, went to our lockers for no more than 5 minutes, then sat back down on the bleachers until the dismissal bell rang. But, I loved French class, where I learned I cannot draw the Eiffel Tower, without making it look like a decorated block letter A.

I apologize for assuming you had a basement; I thought all home-schoolers trooped down the stairs every morning to their fake schoolroom with a Whiteboard and big spinning globe. In your case, it could have been called the “SG Institute of Lower Learning.” Since there is no basement, I will have to come up with a more suitable moniker.

Get a lot for the money over there…….Like your cinema…..bet you can watch that from Brisbane!!
Yes, houses here are pretty cheap compared to the big coastal cities.
We bought the home cinema when the kids were younger as we were getting out of the house a bit less – it has an amazing picture and sound – better than the quality in most cinemas. My daughters still come and visit with their friends to make popcorn and watch the show 🙂

I will buy it if @trcanberra throws in free travel for life from there to Scotland as part of the deal.
And I swear I’m good for the money. I’ll have it by the end of the month.

The Redhead Days festival starts today; my 4th and last time as a member of the organising team. It’s going to take some getting used to not being a part of the inner circle anymore, but at least I’m leaving a nice legacy: the Facebook page I manage reached (and passed) 100.000 Likes this morning

Whats a separate toilet? Is that away from the house, like next door?
I had one like that when I was a kid in Wales – out in the backyard.
They just mean it’s separate from the area with the sink and separate from the shower – the bath area has 3 separate small rooms 🙂

Just got a surprise visit yesterday from one of my old friends who moved to a different state back in early July. We even had a sleepover, which was great because we haven’t talked since mid-late July. I’m quite happy that I got to see her again 🙂

Having a knee you can’t bend must be very debilitating.
Apparently Scotland’s defeat to Germany is being described by The Scottish Herald as ‘glorious’ and much improved over their loss to Georgia so there’s still hope you’ll qualify with the last two games against Poland and Gibraltar.
Have you decided on the best plan for your back Ahhh Girl?
