Offline One time I was staying at McDonald while waiting for the time to finish the music lesson and violin lesson the kids I take care and I was online on BB then there’s a lady was peeking my mobile she said ohh! You’re reading a Bible through online, I said no, its all about Beatles Bible not a holy Bible

I passed my driver’s theory test on Saturday so now I have to get my learner’s permit tomorrow. I imagine the queue to get the bloody thing will be like this:
Congrats – looks like you are having great summer. Hope the queue is not entirely awful. Once, while at the DMV in Phoenix I thought I hit the jackpot because my number was 92 and they were “Now Serving” number 83 – how long could it be? Then, reality slapped me in the face when I realized my number was B92 and they were now serving A83. My fears were confirmed when I reached the waiting area and saw the 109 people that were ahead of me.
Update: It took about 15 minutes, it would have been about 10 minutes but the woman at the desk was insistent on talking to the customer renewing her licence about her broadband plan (“I get unlimited landline calls, unlimited mobile and unlimited broadband for only €55 a month”- well aren’t you great!).
That and my ID photo looks slightly better than horrendous- so that’s good, I guess.

Oh, I didn’t know what’s happened to them maybe because I have so many absence and my reporter trc didn’t tell me, anyway you guys I hope will be okay soon we are family here, I know sometimes there’s s misunderstood but its a part of our daily life, but we can just to forget and forgive, we are all in one and one for all, like Ringo said (Peace and Love)

I actually swam this morning…..(You can’t fall over in the water). I’m very pleased i managed it……On the mend.
Anyway this is what it was like for me last week………. Now I’m so used to being dizzy I could be good at this. Which would spoil all the fun of course.
Thanks to everyone and hope MMM get’s his knee back soon….To join me in the BB Sports day races.

Offline Still preparing my house for sale. We had a compulsory building inspection yesterday which went well – the house is in good condition. Very good news. The inspection at the “investment” place we sold at a loss went badly as it revealed some water damage we knew nothing about – which led to some very low bids from prospective buyers.
I also inspected a rental townhouse yesterday afternoon as I begin my search for somewhere to live when the house is sold. It was quite nice but has a longer lease than I really want to sign just now – I haven’t quite decided if I want to stay in Canberra or move interstate – or overseas! 🙂

Offline I’m thinking of studying in Leipzig, Germany (because it’s cheap and I’m poor, that and it’s an hour away from Berlin and it has the world’s largest goth festival at Easter time- what’s not to love?) for a year and I was having a look around at apartments.
It’s an old east-German city and in some of the apartments I can imagine myself coming home from uni for the day, going to a corner in the room and crying myself to sleep- they look so depressing. Those Soviets sure knew how to design their buildings! (But it sure as hell beats living in Munich 😉 )

Just came home from visiting my neighbors beach house they rented for the summer. It was quite fun, despite coming home covered in more sand than water. Also, on the way home, Smells Like Teen Spirit started playing on the radio, and my mom tried to make out the words. I only know them because the second I heard the song, I looked up the lyrics ASAP.
Anyways, now I’m just listening to music on my speakers, wearing a sweater. Oh no, cold weather is to come very soon

Well lads, this was it… and now I wave good-bye to being able to chew like a normal human. Expect the Pet Peeves thread to fill with orthodontia-related complaints.

While I was in the office, having fiendish thingies done to my poor innocent teeth, I heard a Pink Floyd song. I don’t know which one it was as I didn’t recognise it, but there was an occasional something in the way she moves the song that fairly shouted Pink Floyd (they’re fab like that). I spent most of it arguing with myself whether or not it was a Pink Floyd song– one minute I was convinced it was, the next I was quite sure it wasn’t. As the song ended, I finally reached the conclusion that it was, it had to be, because nobody does Pink Floyd like Pink Floyd. 
The radio station promised to play more Pink Floyd later, but I never heard any. 
(How many times can I mention Pink Floyd in one post? *Seven* times, evidently.)

Offline Its been a small while since I’ve been on because of school and also this weird situation that I’m in with a girl. We’re pretty much dating and have been for a while and we both love each other but she doesn’t want to get actually serious with anything because she’s really religious and I guess you could say I’m an agnostic but I dont really care about religion that much. So yeah its really weird. We do things that basically any couple would do but we just havent called ourselves that yet.
Anyways, today was an interesting day because in Advanced Drama class the teacher had us do this meditation sort of thing to like clear our minds and prepare to take on a character. That was a really cool, weird, and also somewhat scary experience that I am still recovering from and I really don’t feel myself right now and havent for a few days so if this post makes no sense then thats why
