Offline At work it’s midterm assessment time. We assess ourselves year-to-date and then our Managers chime in with their views as well. I’ve been working on mine all day and needed a break, so that’s why I’m logged on here. I’m also flipping through my thesaurus looking for appropriate adjectives. Let’s see…

Offline I decided not to move my right arm yesterday for eight hours cause I was bored and wanted to see what would happened.
It got swollen and felt colder then many other arm. Now it’s fine.

So much for the Scottish summer! Very dark clouds, rain cascading down. If i went outside i’d last 3 seconds before getting swept away, squished or shrunk.
I’ve been successful in getting a ticket to see ‘Behind the Scenes of Just a Minute’ in Edinburgh. My ticket comes with the disclaimer
THIS TICKET DOES NOT GUARANTEE ADMISSION
as they deliberately send out too many as folk might not turn up.

Offline Thanks to Skype I have just finished watching a wonderful 1-hour cooking demonstration by the delightful @HongKongLady.
As a result there is renewed hope that from now on I will be able to boil rice correctly 🙂

Offline Read a good chunk of ‘Tune In’, very near the end of volume one. The Beatles with drums (Pete too) have travelled to Germany (John pinching a harmonica on the way) and have since left the Indra moving to the Kaiserkeller; Ringo and the Hurricanes and a bit later Astrid, Klaus and Jurgen are very much now in the picture. Its highly exciting getting here, its been a long very enjoy 700+ to read. No idea how i’m going to cope when Brian goes to the Cavern or Ringo joins. I think i might have to be near a hospital.
Reading a book shouldn’t be like this.
Some would argue this should be in another thread but its more important than being thrown in there. But to keep folk happy i went places, did things, eat food, drank juice etc etc.
