Just came back from the first baseball game my 4 year old son has ever seen in person. He had fun, but wanted to know why we were rooting against the visiting team. “What did they ever do to me?” Also wanted to know why the players didn’t change clothes after sliding into a base. “Are their mommies gonna wash their pants?” He’s a funny kid, I tell ya.

When I spend time talking to @Expert Textpert, via the computer or face-to-face, I am always motivated to a higher plane of thinking. I discover things about myself that I’ve never thought before.
Take today’s talk. I was telling him something that I’ve thought about for sometime – that I don’t think I would have liked the mischevious, young Beatles, especially John Lennon . But, that I keep hoping that I will learn something that will one day help me “connect” to that John. I’ve always thought of that in terms of me learning something about John as being when that ah-ha moment would dawn upon me. Then it hit me that there is probably something I need to learn about myself that will cause that ah-ha moment to happen. Ex Tex agreed that I could be right about that.
I guess the lesson Ex Tex shared with me earlier in the day sank in.
How do you do that to me, Ex Tex?

I don’t know…I just observe, listen, and pay attention.

I learned the intro and main riff of Out On The Tiles by Zeppelin after giving up learning Friends. Jimmy Page was magic, I don’t know how he did these things with five fingers.

Eh, you could still make money as long as you hassle everybody in the universe. But yeah, it is very difficult to get a music-related job, which is a real shame because I want a job as a musician.

Hmm – not much – which is annoying. I want to listen to some music but the financial stress levels are so high at the moment I am sort of sitting here like a rabbit waiting to get run over by the train at the end of the tunnel.
Ah well – at least there is a semi to watch tomorrow morning.
