I’m disappointed in myself in that I had to look up STBE…….But I learned something.

Good luck ………..keep calm……It will only get better from here.

I’m currently knocking back a glass of Cab’ Sav’…..and in between sips eating some dark sea salt chocolate listening to my son who’s over from OZ play Blackbird better than I do.

Few things are better than this……..Though kicking his arse at squash this morning was up there.

So, I’d only been inside a courtroom once during my life before (as a witness giving evidence in a trial) and now it’s twice in as many months.

The first was of course my divorce hearing last month.

Tomorrow I am seeking to obtain a restraining order against the person formerly known as my STBE who has been busy stalking me ever since the divorce order.

I’ll let you know how things go – 25 abusive texts in a day is a bit much!

Maybe she wants you back and this is her way of doing so.

If so i’d recommend this

Hello everybody. Well, let’s focus on the positive. Today I finished my third oil painting. The first two were based on paintings by Max Ernst, although I did change the colors and even the shapes –they were abstract paintings. This one is abstract as well, but there are elements that let you see naturalistic forms –a very nice combination. People who have seen it have told me they like it, but more importantly, I like this third painting very much, and it isn’t based on anybody else’s previous work, it’s a 100% Oudis. That’s all for now. And oh, by the way, it’s a larger painting as well.

I have a job interview in just over two hours and my driving theory test tomorrow afternoon.

  1. I am doing my normal cramming as i cannot study for weeks in advance, my brain refuses to take any of it in.
  2. This job interview is on the wrong day. I want to be studying.

Do you sign your paintings with “Oudis”?

No, really, I’m glad you are proud of your painting.

@Oudis – how cool! Would it be possible for you to post pics of your art? And BTW, how about the writer’s block – have you overcome that yet?

@meanmistermustard – best of luck on both!! Can we assume the job interview is not for a position as a driver?
*mustard you can Drive My Car *

I am pleased to report some good news as well. Our dearest friend has been hospitalized since 14 June with symptoms including severe nausea, weekness, pain and a host of other things. After a battery of tests performed by a battery of “ologists”, nobody had been able to successfully diagnose what she may have had.

Where is the good news, you ask? Now that she is showing signs of improvement, the general consensus among the “ologists” is that it was viral and simply needs to run its course. I am waiting for confirmation, but chances are she will be able to go home either today or tomorrow. What a relief!

Thanks to no end go out to @Joe, @Ahhh Girl and @meanmistermustard for their words of support and encouragement behind the scenes as well as doing the heavy lifting mod-wise. You guys are wonderful.

Delighted to hear the news of improving health for your friend @Zig and that it appears to have been nothing of a long term nature. As for the load, we help each other, you three have all done the same for me when life comes calling. Its fun being a mod when not only the folk on the site are so accommodating but the mods are on the same wavelength.

Ok, enough of this schmaltzy stuff.

My interview went well. I’ve learnt thru the last few interviews that they all ask the same questions just worded differently; all you need is to be on time, friendly and be able to think fast. I have two companies, at least, checking out my references and that i’m of good character having passed their interview sections.a-hard-days-night-john-1

Is that all there is to physics? Why did I not take that course in high school?

Seriously, if you put me in charge of reformatting a physics book, I wouldn’t even know what parts fit together. I could really mess that up. You wouldn’t want anyone who studied from that book to design and build the airplane you are flying on.

Well, if it makes you feel any better, it had to be explained to me several times.
