Offline ^^^ Hopefully the island won’t be too far from the Beatles Bible house island.
In my life, I’ve just been given a potential temporary job project by my older sister’s boyfriend. Hopefully, the planets will align and I’ll do it. I’ll make just under $1000 for doing it.
EDIT: Also, it may be too early to say this, but I might be a bit less active here because of this assignment.

I was on Anguilla a couple of years ago, and a guy rowed in on a dinghy from his anchored catamaran. He hauled the dinghy up on the beach and pulled out an iPad. He was connecting to a free WiFi service at a beach restaurant. That made an impression on me: the Internet may be available almost anywhere.

Offline I saw Ginger Baker’s Jazz Confusion at Thalia Hall in Chicago last night. It was a lot of fun. We had good seats. Ginger is still really tearing it up on drums at age seventy-five. I got lots of pictures, of course. Here are some of the better ones:
