I noticed you’ve been spending more time offline lately. Before, I sometimes wondered if you ever left.
I finally ploughed through all my unread posts…

I’d rather not get into specifics, but I’ve been feeling very unwell lately. I’m going to see a doctor soon.
Hope it all works out okay.
Fighting off a cold here; probably from the howling winds every time I pop to the shops for a loaf of bread.

Oh yeah, it would be winter for you…
How does that work anyway? Do you have Decembers for our June or winters in July?
I’ve been wondering this for ages.

^ I’m not entirely sure what you are asking, but the seasons are the opposite of those in the Northern Hemisphere.
We still have Christmas in a (very hot) December 🙂

^ You should try celebrating Christmas with 30ºC, it’s awesome! Especially with all the Christmas things full of snow and the fact that it doesn’t usually snow here (or at least in South America it only does in the very very south, and not that much).
And something more on-topic, I don’t have school until Friday because tomorrow none of my teachers goes, on Wednesday they reunite and on Thursday they don’t work (I can’t think of the right word, the thing is that they don’t go to work as a form of protest because they want higher salaries, or something like that).

I think the words that seem to slip away are ‘on strike’.

I’M BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We (which means my family and I) went to the beach over the weekend. Three days of sea breezes, driving, too much sand, ferry rides, climbing the (approx.) 240 steps to the top of the Cape Hatteras lighthouse…
and no guitar or Beatles Bible.
I had a fab weekend, but the lack of guitar got pretty gruelling at times. And now Annadog40 is hounding me (oops, no pun intended)… ergh…
Have you tried a Ukelele……?They are great fun and nothing to pack.

Get yourself seen and deal with whatever it is @Necko. Playing with your health is one of the least sensible things you can do.
We dont need specifics, just to know you’re on the mend/getting checked out. Look after yourself.

My dad was in it. He was absolutely fine; the car was not.

^ Reminds me of our old jeep, my dad sold it to his friend who brought it to his holiday home in Spain. A week after the jeep was in Spain (enjoying its retirement), a car came out of nowhere on a T-Juction and smashed right into the side of my Dad’s friend’s car. If he had been in his normal car and not in our massive jeep, he probably would have been killed.
On a happier note: Glad to hear your Dad was alright.

Here is a picture of a similar car (courtesy of the world wide ‘nets) in anyone is interested:
My dad spent a lot of time working on it (it’s 17 years old, things fall apart) and we have sort of sentimental feelings toward the good ol’ Tealvo. It may not be quite R.I.P yet… we’ll see.
And now it’s time for all the insurance headaches…
