Pondering.I’ve just realised how weird life is. How strange and how much of a miracle life is. All the music, all the love and things like that… frankly, it’s terrifying. I’ve just had the most macabre, foreboding feeling. I really have realised that I’m really only very small and life goes on within me and without me.
I’m scared, honestly. You only have one chance in life.
I’ve had many of those thoughts and feelings myself recently. I even wrote a small book about it. It’s funny how each of us has barely any significance in the bigger picture, whereas in our own point of view, we are the bigger picture.
Right now I am taking turns in tiding my room, packing for my trip to Germany, playing the guitar, listening to the Beatles, listening to Billy Idol, writing what my sister calls my own “philosophy”, trying to brace myself for the biggest change in my life that is to come… basically tumbling over stuff in a confused manner.

Well hey everybody! I’m back from the camping portion of this month’s weeklong-plus holiday (I get another week next month) – hope you maniacs didn’t accidentally burn down Beatlesbible House while I was away, lol. Sis/Bro-in-law/Katie and Uncle Von are now spending the last few days chilling at Mom’s place, where the pool’s always cool (and so are the drinks) and the kid keeps us all entertained. In short, had a great time up north, and are now having a great time down south.We didn’t burn beatlesbible down, but we lit a big fire over a heal/hurt game

I get five weeks paid vacation throughout the year. I usually take a week in the summer, and then another week later in the summer (next month), and spread the rest out over the year. I’m currently on the second hour of my first day back, struggling to get back into the groove.

Offline Agree, he’s one of the nicest mean guys I know!
(I often overlook the fact that John was using “mean” in “Mean…” to mean “cheap, thrifty” as opposed to “mean” meaning “unpleasant, unkind”, which is what we North Americans usually mean by “mean”. If you know what I mean.

Offline So, originally my name is Kellie Rogers, very boring, and I have long Jane-red hair and a black and drab wardrobe. Yet, lately I’ve found myself wanting something more vibrant and new. Here is my ideas on how to improve myself:
Option 1: I go by my middle name, Ranae, and spice up my wardrobe with some psychedelic shift dresses. I could also dye my hair blonde and cut it short like Twiggy….
Option 2: I talk in a fake British accent and leave my unsatisfying friend group. Twiggy hair is still an option…
Option 3: I go by Ranae and have the accent and the dresses and the haircut…
Option 4: Keep my haircut, ditch my clothes (and the friends), embrace the accent (and Ranae Rogers), and be someone else…
Option 5: Shutup and crawl back into my craphole of a life…

Offline Unhappy! Living with a dying power adapter for my laptop! Every time I manage to get it to work, the slightest movement might knock it out again, so each time could be the last time…
I know the problem. Where the wire joins the jack that goes into the laptop, the wire is breaking. It’s been playing up for weeks, but getting worse and worse the last few days. I’ve spent hours today playing with the position of the wire to get some fecking power!
Still, a friend is ordering a replacement for me today or tomorrow (I don’t do cards so can’t order one myself!), so it is a case of which will happen first – the death of my power adapter or the arrival of my replacement?
If I do disappear, you know why, and that I’ll be back asap!
