Today is May 15th. I’ve been a Beatles Bibler for a whole year. I guess it’s the closest thing to a hobby I have. But reading and posting take time; I wonder if I couldn’t/shoudn’t have used all the time I’ve spent on the Beatles Bible doing something more creative, or working towards my goals. In any case, I’ve enjoyed being here.

A belated Happy Forumversary to you @Oudis . Great to have you here! a-hard-days-night-ringo-15

I can verify that RN, Ex Tex, parlance, Joe, Ellie, Hildy, Hannah, Oyster Black Pearl, and Starrisonsubmarine are not ax murderers. You are safe to meet them. I can’t wait to add more people to that list.

I seem to be conspicuously absent from this list, Clarice…I mean @Ahhh Girl !!

Last day of high school was today. Had a pretty nasty drinking binge from 08:00  to 15:30, and everyone is going on the evening party to continue, but I can’t… my leg hurts like hell for literally no reason. I can’t stand, plus I’m dead tired.

So, I’m very sad at the moment, I can’t be with people I like – plus I’m in a lot of pain. I don’t usually complain this much, but I had to do it somewhere, eh paul-mccartney

Of course, it’s gonna be some time until it hits me for REAL that this is the end of a wonderful life period.

It’s just annoying having to stay at home while others are having fun, but that’s an ordinary deal today.

Silly Girl previously mentioned
I have a book analysis due for my World Lit class and I’ve done a spoken-word poem. Since the character from whose point of view I am speaking is from New Zealand, I’m trying to learn the accent, but it’s… slippery. And I’ve only got till tomorrow morning– not nearly long enough! a-hard-days-night-ringo-14

Think I can get away with a Scouse accent? a-hard-days-night-george-10

I presented it today and it went well, but unfortunately, I was unable to get away with a Scouse accent… 😉

I hope that whatever is causing your leg to be sore is nothing serious @StrawberryWalrus and you have a great night at home.

It is hard seeing a great period of your life come to an end; surround yourself with friends and family and keep busy and positive (i’m trying to do the same thing and its bloody hard. Accepting you’ll have some down moments should make it a bit easier but its still fecking hard.). Different but wonderful times are ahead, you just have to carry on. (Its far easier saying the words.)

For me i got an email in the post from someone i’d never heard off, also sent to a lot of other people with similar names, telling me to open an important attached file.

Yes, accepting is just the thing I have to work on lately – it’s just fascinating how some things seem to be over but they light up from time to time, without a reason. For example, a certain girl I was head over heels in love not a long time ago – finally managed to move on but she still, annoyingly, pops up in my mind.

And leaving school and heading to university is definitely a beautiful thing, lots of new opportunities and people to meet… but then again, there’s always that small romanticism, you leave that part of youth behind in some way… eh.

We’re in the same boat- I finish school tomorrow and it’s a proper day of school i.e. no drinking binges until 10pm or so.

Why 10pm I hear you all say?

Well the tradition for students who are finished school is to have a mass (and people say Catholic Ireland is dead and gone!) and then afterwards students go on the piss (and in some schools, so do the teachers a-hard-days-night-paul-10).

The mass begins at 8:30pm and will end around 10ish but I don’t think I’ll go out afterwards because my head feels awful and I’m dog-tired.

I also just finished a letter to my guest mother in Germany as she wanted to know when my exams are:

T minus 2 weeks *shudders*.

Least I’ll have a little under 2 weeks to study at home though which is nice as I can get more done in the morning and afternoon and I can cry myself to sleep relax in the evenings.

Been there. Took me 3 years to forget one such person. Having great periods with no thoughts and then she appears in a dream and your thinking “WHHHHHHY?”. If i typed out the details i’d need a bottle of gin and a responsible adult in the room to stop me doing something seriously stupid.

Ugh, dreams. I usually never dream anything remotely… well, logical or sane, but this is the only person which I have dreamed of in realistic, serious scenarios. And that involved a lot of basic stuff. I had a dream where she deleted me from Facebook. She did that eventually in real life. Then I dreamt she blocked me few days ago. I was upset at the fact that dream got me upset.

I’ll also never forget a dream where I danced with her in some supermarket, by the fridge things where the ice cream and fish was… strange but beautiful. I’d also like an adult supervisor if I continue to ramble on about this stuff :/

@AppleScruffJunior  Well, at least you have some kind of celebration in your place. Most of the cities here had some ceremonies or parades or stuff that was nice to see, except in mine. It was just mindless drinking here and singing, tho it was relatively peaceful and nice this year.

Started filling in an application form and saw a note saying you should set aside 30 minutes to complete it. I thought “yeah, be done in 10” as they all say that but are never close. Due to the amount of questions i have no idea where they got 30 minutes from – more like an hour if you’re quick and don’t care about spelling.

22:11 Update

Went for a walk outside. 4 bats promptly flying at and around me. Cut walk short and came home.

Spent an age filling in that application form mentioned above only to click on the last “next” and get an error message that the form cannot be found. All my work is gone. Incapable useless b******s.

Will have to start again in the morning. I’m having a cup of tea to remove my annoyance.

Things can get awfully busy at times.

“Spreading efforts to keep things working” would be about accurate, if general in general. But I’ve started to think in abstracts to save time. Being specific takes it.

There's nothing you can see that isn't shown.

Well that’s secondary school finished forever then, I adopted a balloon and called him Dave.

The mass-yoke thing starts at 8:30pm and there will be a ‘Student of the Year’ award thing on I think…

Exciting stuff- that and I have to go back into school tomorrow because I forgot to return a DVD to my Irish teacher, blah!

I also made my English teacher laugh today- for the first time ever!

After tonight i will be staying on my own long term. I’m not looking forward to it. Not scared but i like having someone in the house. Its the thought not the reality.

Good luck with that. I’m thinking of moving out but I feel as if I’m not ready for it yet. So are you moving out or is whoever else was living with you moving out? Or was it your child? (It’s rather annoying when you’re not quite sure how old someone is)

@AppleScruffJunior Hey congratulations girl! Well done.

Today I went to prison. Why? To join the employees for a day to see if it’s work I would like to do when I finish my college. I was so scared, but the detainees were pretty nice and interested, actually. I expected these big tattooed guys, but they all looked pretty normal. They were making stuff and drawing, and telling me they’d give the finished product to their kid or wife. I realized they are just people. It got a bit scary when the guy who was accompanying me told us they could be there for various reasons, from theft to murder. I started wondering if I had sat next to a murderer and started wondering what everyone I had seen and talked to had done to get in jail. Oh well, it’s better not to know everything in some cases, I guess. Anyway, they had quite a big list of activities and it was very interesting to see everything in the prison. Have seen a couple of cells too (but I had seen that before as we’ve been there with college last year as well). It was a fascinating and interesting day.

Right, now I’m off to watch the rest of Eurovision with my friends, laugh about stupidly funny tweets, tweet s***e myself and probably get a bit tipsy.
