@Necko geez, that must be a real pain in the ass. I kind of have a problem that’s a bit alike. I’ve got X-legs, caused by standing and walking in the wrong way for twenty years too. Sometimes it hurts and sometimes I really feel it in my hips and knees, but it’s not as bad as yours. It’s a problem that runs in my family. Not trying to go all like ”I have that too omg”, just wanted to let you know I sort of understand it. Did you ever have special shoes for it? And physiotherapy or something? Let’s hope the new doctor will know what to do!
As for the nice hayfever, I’ve practically always got a cold, because my nose is a bit crooked, which makes it cover one nostril, but right now it’s even worse. My eyes go all red and watery and within a few hours my mascara and eyeliner will be somewhere near my mouth.

It is a pain (literally and figuratively). Those are all things that I’ve considered. I’ve honestly been holding out on treatment a bit because the medical treatment services in the town that I go to college in are, to put it nicely, less than excellent. My options are limited there.
Yeah, I’m not offended or anything (in response to the sentence that begins “Not trying to go all like…”).

I’m packing bags! HOLIDAYS!!! YES!!! I’m leaving this evening.
Only, today was the last day that I saw my best friend (sounds quite dramatic) She’s moving to Uganda. I’m gonna miss her so much. That’s the annoying part of an international school. I have to admit I got a little emotional when we said our goodbyes. Luckily we can still Email each other.

My mother decided to take me to a chiropractor instead. I’m honestly pretty skeptical as to the effectiveness of chiropractic care in general, but it’s more than I have been doing, so it’s worth a shot. Either way, I got a one-hour professional massage today.

I’m in the middle of recording a cover of Get Back , but I’ve had to stop since it’s nearly midnight. I’ve gotten probably over half done; rhythm guitar, lead guitar, bass, vocals – tomorrow I’ll be double-tracking the vocals, finishing off the solos, and adding drums and ‘orchestra’ overdubs.

Well hey everybody! I’m back from the camping portion of this month’s weeklong-plus holiday (I get another week next month) – hope you maniacs didn’t accidentally burn down Beatlesbible House while I was away, lol. Sis/Bro-in-law/Katie and Uncle Von are now spending the last few days chilling at Mom’s place, where the pool’s always cool (and so are the drinks) and the kid keeps us all entertained. In short, had a great time up north, and are now having a great time down south.

Yep. That’s a picture of Billy Idol. Yes, I took it. No kidding. It was me who stood in the front row in Billy Idol’s concert in Skopje last night! I had the most wonderful time, it was so awesome. I recorded most of the concert while I was jumping and singing my lungs out. The very memory of it gets me nostalgic. I want more, more, more.

“It’s a nice day to start againnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn!!!!!!!!!!!”
More, more, more of seeing Billy Idol or more of going to concerts @ScrambledEggs (not that they are mutually exclusive)? Has your voice recovered yet?
@Bulldog, try not to get eaten by sharks when in the water, it would be nice to have you back here fully limbed. Enjoy the rest and relaxation.
@Von Bontee, glad you had a great time and that it continues. Just exactly how many holidays have you got coming up?

More, more, more of Billy Idol and even more, more, more of going to concerts! Sadly, there are rarely any good concerts in Macedonia. It was my first real rock concert, in fact. Before this, I’d only seen Macedonian bands and singers.
My voice has indeed recovered – at last too! – although the screaming and singing last night have done their job. I expect it to be fully recovered by tomorrow, though. Thanks for asking, @meanmistermustard. 🙂

Riding in the car from the Chicago suburbs to the Denver suburbs to see family, a distance of nearly 1000 miles (screw providing a metric equivalent. My phone’s Internet is too slow at the moment to do so.) We’re going to try to tackle it in one day, thirteen hours in the car. We’re four hours in.
Hope your trip is going well, @Necko.

I get five weeks paid vacation throughout the year. I usually take a week in the summer, and then another week later in the summer (next month), and spread the rest out over the year. I’m currently on the second hour of my first day back, struggling to get back into the groove.
Congratulations on your new status, moderator!
Paul: Yeah well… first of all, we’re bringing out a ‘Stamp Out Detroit’ campaign.

Just back to mother’s place again for another hot week of congregating poolside with SisBroKatie while assorted friends and family all drop by to do the same. (There’s LOTS of family living in that town or very near and happily we’re all pretty close, or at least cordial.) Probably break the routine with a trip to the beach or a night at the races. Possibly take the kid out to the farm where a cousin keeps a horse who gives rides. And try to persuade mom to get high with us in the evenings, lol.

Preparing the textbook collection for the Fall semester. What a time suck it is. But, it is a popular program. Long story that I don’t want to get into. Just know that I’m going cross-eyed. SOCI 2323, SOCI 3233, SOCI 3323 and on and on it goes.

Last year one of my horses had a foal, who I wanted to keep and train. I have trained young horses before, but not from when they are that young. Things worked out differently than I thought, and now I don’t want a yearling around, especially since I couldn’t ride her until she was two or three. I’ve been trying to sell her and I’ve had an add on craigslist for a few weeks, but I’ve stopped getting inquires. So I’m a little worried I won’t be able to get rid of her
