I spilt soup down my freshly cleaned sweater as I was trying to eat and type here at the same time 🙁
And tell my spell-checker that spilt is perfectly good English and I don’t have to use spilled. Yes, it’s usage may be as old as I am but I’m sure we can all cope.

Get well soon, ASJ. Can you eat a virtual apple?
Sure.
I’m now running a fever….really body, really?
That and their are eejits on the telly talking about gay marriage being wrong.
If it doesn’t get legalized, I will be pissed off- it’s essentially telling gay people, you’re lesser than straight people. Straight people can get married and call each other “husband” and “wife” but gay/bisexual couples are left with being called “partners”.
Just because you’re getting married, doesn’t mean you want children. There are loads of childless couples, anyways single people can already adopt children. What does it matter if you’ve got two mams or two dads, so long as the child is loved and being taken care of, what does it matter?
Anyways sorry about that…..
Ergh, what can I say but yet another ‘hope you get well soon’? What you need is, like AG said (in another thread), some chicken soup for Beatlemaniacs. *scrabbles round in bottom of box* *hands over very last virtual apple*
And I wholly agree with your telly-telly bunkum box rant.
Okay, forum, I’m going now. Sheesh! One would think you don’t like me too much.
I actually quite like sleeping… but it does seem to take too much time.
Yes, I’m PWT.

Grandpa’s funeral is tomorrow. I’ve been asked to be a pallbearer. I’m honored. At the age of twenty-three, I’ve already been a pallbearer twice.

In college doing a 2,000 word essay on Douglas McGregor’s theory of employee motivation (including it’s spin-offs) Normally I’m a whizz at business studies so I should breeze through this!
I love Theory X and Theory Y, I use it everytime I have to mention managing.
And plus one for using fear of consequence as a way of motivating staff- well done Theory X managers.
I also like Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs.

A brief recap of the story so far for those who came in late:
I have been separated for the last 14 months from my wife of 27 years (referred to in these parts as my STBE; variously my soon-to-be-ex or my soon-to-be-ex-wife: take your pick). During this time we had 3 great kids; two daughters (since moved out) and a teenage son who is still at home with me.
In Facebook terms I am ‘in a relationship’ with the delightful HKL (@HongKongLady) whom you have most likely met in these pages – we are unfortunately currently separated by far too many miles (kilometers) of ocean.
My divorce court hearing is tomorrow morning (the 15th) at 11.00am.
Whatever the outcome I’m hoping I am close to the end of another stage of life’s journey and that the voyage ahead will be better still.
