I thought I’d let you know why I’ve been so scarce lately. If you guessed hospital you guessed right! I have (a much milder case of) rhabdomylosis, no pneumonia, and shingles again – but the er doc said he didn’t think it was – however he ordered an infectious disease doc for tomorrow. I looked at the shingles pictures and what I have looks a lot like some of them. Oh, I just went back in tonight, but I’ve been sleeping a lot so that’s why I haven’t been around much. I post in hospital because it’s impossible to sleep (meds at 9 & 2am, vitals at 4am,blood drawn a at 5am). And on and on it goes…i think my body needs a damn good whacking! @ Err….Maybe not (re: body needs a damn good whacking)… It would hurt like hell!Wishing you a get well soon

In My Life : I have all of my orals finished 
(we need to get a woohoo-looking Beatles smiley). My Irish one went good, the examiner didn’t ask me anything personal just abstract topics on unemployment, the status of Irish, how can we improve Irish etc.
However out of the 20 picture sequences that I could have gotten, I got the 1 that I hated the most- little b*tch of a thing it is. I got through it alright, I just wish I’d gotten an easier one. We were talking for 20 minutes which is 5 minutes longer than a normal conversation so hopefully I got as close to the 40% as possible.
Now I have to focus on my written exams

I like it @Oudis. Dont speak no Latin but the translation (“Perhaps one day it will be a pleasure to look back on even this“) is really nice. I like the room left open for it maybe not being a good moment in life when reflected upon in the future.

@Oudis, I’m glad the quote says “perhaps”. If it said something to the effect of “will definitely” it would mean you might have to work at lying to yourself to make it so. Don’t dwell on “even this” and let things take their couse and see if the memory becomes pleasurable.

Offline Took a Magical Mystery Tour around Beatles Liverpool this afternoon. Just left Ahhh Girl and Ron Nasty at Liverpool Lime Street station. Was a brilliant evening. Lovely dinner (and drinks) with lovely people!
