Judgement day has arrive, I’m talking about the Charlie Hebdo killings- I hope she doesn’t ask difficult questions :/

I wish I was 2nd in as then I would have enough time to wake up properly but alas that is not how my day has been planned out….

@trcanberra, the RBS can transfer all monies to me without bother, no need for me to go in submarines or risk Putin putting out a contract on my life. Just send me the bank details, i’ll then contact them, and it will be in my account by the time the day is thru.a-hard-days-night-john-5

Good luck @AppleScruffJunior. Whatever happens it cant be worse than my French oral exam where i walked in, said i knew nothing, and promptly walked back out. For some reason the silly teacher failed mea-hard-days-night-ringo-12.

Today @Ahhh Girl and I move on to Cardiff.

We spend part of the day hobbling around Bath as AG wishes to see its architecture, then it’s Cardiff.

I’ll be staying at a hotel while AG visits with @Joe.

Woo-hoo! I get a break!

Thank you, thank you, thank you, Joe! I hope you’re ready for the wonderful whirlwind that is AG!

Myself, I’m looking forward to a little recharge before we hit Liverpool on Sunday.

Cheers to @Ahhh Girl and @Joe

Glasgow is a big city so i can ditch her and run. Thats actually my plan; spend 15 minutes with her before excusing myself to go to the bathroom and just leg it out of there. Not entirely sure what she expects from the least social chatty person in real life there is. Its basically a hermit coming out of his cave for a few hours and spending the time wondering what the hell is going on and why are we even bothering to do what we are doing before shuffling back in perplexed at what went before.

Count sheep. Idk. Sleep medication.

I appreciate that, but I wasn’t really looking for advice.  I was kinda just complaining because I like to complain.  I knew what I was doing and I’ve gotten a good amount of sleep since then.

That’s cool that you’re seeing the Who.  Love the Who.

I’m browsing the forum at Joe and Ellie’s house. I’m thankful for the use of their wifi.

I am so pleased that Ted likes the books I brought him.

Wow! Nasty likes this hotel best so far. And that has nothing to do with @Ahhh Girl staying at Joe’s!

When we booked in yesterday, there was a nice bottle of complimentary wine. A 2013 Rare Vineyards Pinot Noir. I’m not a big drinker of red, but – hey-ho! – a free bottle of wine is a free bottle of wine!

I’m back at the hotel having a late lunch after a wander around. Just a sandwich. An Applewood Smoked Bacon & Long Clawson White Stilton with William Pear & Bramley Apple Chutney on dark wholemeal bread.

Just finishing the end of the free bottle of wine with it. Thinking moi must head out again to find more alcohol. Knock on the door, another free bottle of wine. Woo-hoo!

Still got to go out soon, but free wine! Love it!

After handing AG across to @Joe last night, I didn’t plan to do much but take the chance to relax. Wandered around central Cardiff a little last night, got lost a little, bought a takeaway Noodle box from Wok & Walk for dinner.

More exploration of Cardiff today, though very leisurely and no real distances. Did the usual holiday shopping. Gel insoles for new shoes, blister plasters, muscle cream.

Another wander soon. Couple of doors up from Wok & Walk is Wok & Go. Wok & Go is where I think I’ll be getting dinner tonight.

Hmmm… an American in the UK for her birthday. Interesting puzzle. Is it her birthday at midnight tonight, or does it start at somewhere around 6 in the morning? When does it start? A puzzle to wonder on. And not dissimilar to the vagaries of our birthday thread! Do I wish her a happy birthday too early or too late?
