I just had a nice visit from my STBE. Nice because she agreed to sign the divorce papers; so we went out and signed them and had them witnessed and I can now file them tomorrow 
Is it party time yet @meanmistermustard, or should I wait until the court (hopefully) agrees to grant the divorce? Anyway, I’m treating myself to a chocolate muesli bar and coffee to celebrate this step.
Hmm, this might also be good news for @HongKongLady ??

Well, @Ahhh Girl lands in less than an hour! In London!
I don’t know why the Home Office refused my pleas to bar her entry to the country on the grounds of her not being conducive to public good order!
It was such a little ask. But, no, they didn’t even bother responding to my request. Feckin’ Government!
That’s one vote our main governing party has lost. (Not that there was ever any chance of my voting for those feckin’ barstewards!)
And now it seems I’m actually going to have to leave my sofa! “Darn! Darn! Darn!” (or words to that effect). I haven’t moved from here since 1822!
Oh, well! Probably time to bung some clothes in a bag and start preparing myself… It’s too late now!

Offline Ohh I’ve fallen into the trap of accidentally buying so much Beatles merch in Liverpool. There’s an amazing shop in The Beatles Story, then there’s an equally amazing shop on the corner of Matthews Street. There’s a messenger bag in there I want so badly.
Things have been sort of happening in my life. My copy of Paul is Undead: The British Zombie Invasion by Alan Goldsher arrived yesterday and it’ so funny. I love it already. I may purchase the follow up Give Death a Chance. (Only available as an e-book.) My boyfriend gave me an early birthday present of lovely Paul McCartney and Wings vinyls, including London Town complete with poster, which, I have been looking for for ages.
Last but the best bit, today I had a job interview that seemed to go well. Just at a local restaurant, but it’s a nice place and the manager was very nice. There are six of us being interviewed and three front of house jobs and two kitchen staff. The interviewer seemed to like that I had no experience because, and I quote, “you’re less likely to have picked up any bad habits, and I can train you to do things my way.” Fingers crossed! I find out on Saturday if I’ve got to the second round of interviews.

Ah it’s my birthday on the 14th but I live up north, he’s in the midlands and working so can only come up over weekends.
Most of the Beatley things I want right now are records, cds and things to put on my wall. But I can get some free pictures for wall decorating from printing them and keeping old clippings. I even have last years calender saved so I can use the pictures there. A bit miffed last years had a free poster but this years didn’t. There’s also two versions of this years- a normal and a special edition for the Help ! anniversary. Though I don’t know if the pictures inside are different.

Offline Had my German oral today- went great, hopefully I got as close to the 25% as possible. The examiner said I was “super”.
*Gets off high horse* Now I have French and Irish to prepare for :/
Oh and I got a car! The other car that I previously wrote of is for my brother…apparently. I got the ugliest Smart Car known to man, that and it’s left-hand drive so I’ll probably kill myself. I’m thinking of investing in a good wig so I can preserve my dignity, I mean Smart Cars are ugly but this is just ridiculous. I know, I should be grateful for having a car but yeesh…
^ How could you possibly think that looks good! I mean who would design that!?!?
I’m going to see if I can get it painted black 
Or at least not have it have a stupid design like above.

I’m f*cked. I’ve applied for a lot of internships and I had like 7 interviews, and no one but 2 wanted me (I screwed up one interview by being extremely nervous, I had two very good ones but got refused as for one of them you needed a special profile and for the other they wished to have someone with a little more experience in the educational department, I was actually convinced they would take me, screwed up the others too). I screwed up at one of them by not replying back in time and the other one, I had a bit of a taster there, by joining them for a day to see what it’s like to work there. It looked great, like something I wanted, so I told them afterwards, and I haven’t heard back from them since, so I’m going to phone them if I haven’t heard anything this Friday. Applications for most organisations were due before April, so if nothing works out I’m screwed. Why can’t this just go right damnit

If it makes you feel any better, I forgot to submit a video for a scholarship to uni. It was a creative arts one and I’m sure I would have got it, *grumble, grumble*.
2 out of 7 interviews is really good, especially how competitive the market is today and seeing as you’re still a student. Maybe over the summer you could volunteer/work at a children’/teens holiday camp to gain more experience as a leader and working closely with children/teens. It looks good on a C.V. as it shows you’re committed and work well under pressure and with young people.
I hope the business you’re interested in rings you soon!
I’ve got my French oral on Friday worth 25% of my total mark and my Irish on Tuesday worth 40%- ugh!
Tomorrow I have a test on waterfalls, I can’t wait for this year to be over!
