Was that a typo or a Lennonism? (I’ve been reading “A Spaniard In The Works”.)

For the past 3 years, I’ve been involved in the organisation of a festival called Redhead Days. Yes, that is exactly what it is: a festival for gingers (and their fans/family/etc). It’s a lot of fun, but a lot of work too. Thankfully, I’ve got the best “reward” imaginable to look forward to, because I managed to get a ticket to Macca’s upcoming concert in Amsterdam. It was sold out in 15 minutes, but I’m going to be there. So that’s been occupying my mind a lot. I’ve been to London last month and had to get my own Abbey Road photo, of course. Life may not always be great, but there sure are some nuggets of gold in there

Are strawberry blondes also allowed to attend the Redhead Day Festival @Mademoiselle Kitty >^..^<?
And congratulations on getting to see Paul, was this a reward for helping with the organisation of the festival?

Of course, strawberry blondes, auburns and all shades in between are considered redheads In fact, non-reds and fake reds can attend too, they just can’t participate in the record-breaking group photo (2000 gingers in one photo….)
The concert is a reward from me to… well, me. I’m coordinating the upcoming crowd funding campaign (that’s just one of my tasks), which is a huge amount of work. The concert is a week after the end of the campaign and it seemed like a good way to give myself a pat on the back. Of course, I wan’t going to miss what may be the last chance of seeing Macca in concert. Who knows when he stops touring and whether he plays here again before then…!

Well, here I am at 4.04 (a bit like 9.09) and I can’t sleep. Maybe it’s contagious (or not, since apparently we can’t spread contagion via the net or email).
And no, I’m not chatting with someone in HK just now – so that’s not the reason

I think he’s okay with the ipod @HongKongLady – it just plays music so it’s not at risk like an iphone would be.

Thanks @HongKongLady but my phone is so old fashioned (it takes calls, send messages, can store numbers and thats it – amazing!!) that i dont think it knows what the internet is. My ipod does the fancy stuff without the risk of folk calling me.

always take the full dose of antibiotics. if you don’t, the bacteria has a greater chance of developing resistance to that antibiotic. that happened to me once, i took a few days’ worth of tetracycline for a sore throat, a month later i had strep that was resistant to tetracycline and had to take some weird antibiotic that gave me hallucinations.

The more I think about it the more I think you could be right @HongKongLady – depending on what applications are on the ipod. Anyone have recent experience of virus issues via software delivery?

I just dont go anywhere remotely unsafe; email, bbc, a couple of football websites is about it. My main internet activity is on the laptop which is fully loaded with antivirus software.
