Your mother is going to worry when you tell about this or she will worry when she finds out you are worse plus she will be upset that you didnt tell her anyway. Mothers always worry about their kids, its what they do so take the step and tell her, she would want to know.

My mother is such a worrier that we now make a joke about it.

Happy. Wales won in rugby, and England didn’t win the championship. Drunk again in happiness.

 @HongKongLady it

sounds like you might have influenza… Which can cause dehydration… Which can land you in the hospital or worse! I have learned this weekend not to mess around with your health!also my mom is still angry that I didn’t call her as soon so I couldn’t get up.

Hope you feel better soon @Matt Busby ! Try and take it easy for a while, that may help well I just got the word that I’ll probably not get out until Sunday  :( and when I get out I have to stay with someone for a few days (my mom, could be worse.

I missed seeing you were down and in too. My status is now – not getting out today, looking less likely for tomorrow too. What’s worse, i’m waiting on test results to see if I had a minor heart attack! Other problem include severe dehydration and something where my body started using the protein from my muscles which hurts about twice as much as Any strained muscle I’ve ever had. Some doctor came in and said “you’re not on pain medication?” and promptly have me two oxy Co done and my legs only hurt when standing or sitting down now. Oh kidney damage from trying to process all the protein (just a little) I too will be staying with mom for a few days and a nurse will visit every couple days for awhile.  So slowly figuring everything out – I’m actually impressed with this place, from food to medical staff  (c can you tell I’m a shut in or do I always run on like this?) tell ya what – let’s have a contest to see who gets better first :)

Went to a Noel Gallagher gig with my mom yesterday and while it was amazing it was also one of the worst gig experiences in my life. We were second row and right under his nose, and he sounded great (and he is so tiny!) but after a while someone started throwing beer. I could get over that, though it annoyed me. Then people started pushing, and it got worse and worse. My mom wanted to get out and so the security guys carried her over the barricade and helped her out. I just stayed where I was and mildly panicked.

Noel saw all of this happen and asked what was going on, but people just cheered. Later the pushing got worse and worse, and Noel stopped playing. He said people needed to stop, otherwise he would leave and fly back to England. The pushing stopped for a moment, but later it got back, and it got so worse I couldn’t enjoy the gig anymore. I couldn’t enjoy my favourite songs and I felt bad for my mom, who had let me know she was fine and sitting in the hall on a bench. I was standing next to a Portugese girl, and this guy behind us kept pushing forward and all, and we just worked together to push him back and nearly broke his arm (woops). Right before the encore Noel stayed away for a while, and I later learned that he had gone to his roadie to instruct him to ”find the woman who got carried out and to make sure she was fine”. He was apparently very angry.

My mom was outside, like I said, and security and roadies had taken care of her. They told her what Noel had said, and that he was worried and angry, and that incidents like this really make him dislike touring. She had to write down her name, adress, phone number and email, and the roadie and security guard made sure she had something to drink and stayed with her and chatted a bit. I was surprised that an artist, and especially him, cared so much about his fans.

I thought she was angry I had brought her into this, and I felt very bad, but it turned out she felt bad for me. When I walked towards her on the opposite of her was a British girl who got a fist in her teeth, she was crying and a bit in shock, and told us that a few weeks ago she had been to another gig where the pushing and beer throwing was also very bad.

I was both glad it was over and sad because I couldn’t enjoy it. Should have gone straight to the balcony, as I planned, because I thought the front would be a long shot, but hey, what did I know. The atmosphere was great for the first 8 songs though, and he and the band sounded great. Just a shame that there are always some people who ruin it for others. I mean, I’ve seen Metallica live, but that was calmer than this.

Sorry that the experience suffered thru a number of inconsiderate morons but glad that you and your mum got out without any injury. Nice to hear that Liam was worried about your mum, a fan.

Yeah, really. I’ve never had any great love for the Gallagher brothers but that anecdote is admirable.

@Matt Busby , hoping for a good diagnosis. Glad you’re still in good enough spirits and (relative) health to post here.

Hope all those not feeling so good are soon feeling better.

The ad thing is weird, @Necko, but that’s just computer cookies for you, and has nothing to do with this website. I’ve looked at a few hotel websites recently that AG has sent me links to regarding her upcoming UK trip. After I looked at them, I started getting hotel ads cropping up here and on other sites.

The wonderful world of computer advertising!!!

I was getting wedding dresses ads some days ago.

And I started school like three weeks ago and It’s going rather good, considering I don’t like it. And I’m scared by the English oral exam I have in October, I mean, who had the great idea of making it in pairs, with a random person I may have never seen and improvising? Sometimes I wish I wasn’t so shy ahdn_paul_01.

Bought some new clothes for interviews and such. It feels good to have new additions to the wardrobe. It’s still keeping with my all-black color scheme, though. :-)

Afterward, I bought some more spices to add to the growing rack (not so much a rack as much as small tubs from Target labeled with a P-Touch).

Spent most of the day making a dress for a dance I’m going to in a few weeks. It’s a sort of medieval fairy thing, with a slim bodice and leaf/petal things for the skirt. We’ve encountered a few hiccups, but it’s coming together. :D
