I’ll have to modify my earlier statement regarding getting enough sleep.
We are now at that ‘never wanting to say goodbye or goodnight’ stage. And even when we do it takes at least 30 minutes to do it. I slept at 4am this morning which was 1am HK time, which is 2 hours past the latest we have chatted before.
I think loopy is the term; “a state of goofiness usually occurring after a long night of partying or any other activity that provokes sleep deprivation“.
I am determined to muster all of my strength of will to say goodnight earlier, and mean it. Of course, I said that the night before as well

Thanks @meanmistermustard – that sounds like a plan. Though that ‘never speak to me again’ part is a bit of a worry. I might give that part a bit more thought!!

Well, I managed to get to bed at 3am this morning, I guess that’s a (small) step in the right direction?
We were doing so well towards having an earlier night until HKL got hungry and we went out to a Taiwanese restaurant and got home late

Offline Chinese New Year kicks off soon in Hong Kong. If not for the ‘complications’ in the relationship I would be heading over for a visit about now. Sad panda.

Wow, just wow.
I was feeling a bit down about this and one or two other matters just now – and HKL sent me a message asking if everything was okay; she said she had a funny feeling that something was wrong. First time I have felt a bit low lately and first time she sent a message like this.
Is someone watching me with a hidden camera? Am I the new Truman?

I don’t think I’m a big Beatles fan but trcanberra is increasing my interest in them. I think my favorite is either Paul or George but I think George more.
I had only really heard of John because he’s very big here. In the ‘Occupy Hong Kong’ event last year, there was a big Lennon Wall and I put up a Post-It note there But I am definitely listening to the Beatles more now! My favorite song is probably ‘All You Need Is Love ‘

Offline I finally got my college diploma in the mail today. Okay. Whatever. Still doesn’t feel like I’ve really achieved anything.
