I predict that no more than a mile of Trump’s wall will be a physical presence in 2021, and that Mexico won’t have paid…
Those who believe are about to be let down in the biggest way…
If Trump does turn out to be the “greatest jobs creator in history”, you can bet it will be with lower workers rights and higher prices in the shops…

Offline This may be disturbing and upseting for some but these are the type of behaviours in life that need to be highlighted and dealt with so I make no apologies. The BBC report that “A woman in America is being accused of taping her son to a wall so she could get some housework done and filming it live on social media.”.
I figure almost if not all of us here will agree that taping a child to a wall is beyond acceptable levels of parenthood, human decency and everything else so let me ask this – what kind of idiot would think of uploading the film to Facebook and that it would be acceptable to anyone? Tho we should be glad she did as her son has now been taken into care.

Offline You would be surprised about the things some people are willing to post on social media. Not so long ago a group of teenagers livestreamed themselves torturing a person. It saddens me that people would not only do these terrible things, but also intentionally livestream them for anyone to see. I assume they do it for attention, which is why I try to avoid mentioning their names or showing their pictures anywhere after they’ve been arrested. I don’t want to give them the fame they’re looking for.

Humans are savages. I just recently saw a video on Facebook of a very pregnant woman bashing her unborn child with a hammer (I didn’t watch it, but I could tell what it was by the caption/comments).
All living things must abide by the laws of the shape they inhabit

My understanding, which I’d bet is wrong, is that the Government have to now put their plans on how to go about leaving to Parliament vote before going ahead instead of doing whatever they like and not getting consensus from both Houses.
It should also result in more transparency instead of Mrs May repeating endlessly “we have a plan, we’re just not telling anyone what it is because its a secret”.

What a fecking nutter! How to throw the world into disorder in one easy lesson.
The edict breaks the constitution all over the place, though Trump supporters applaud him obviously ignoring the constitution while they slammed Obama for what, at worst, were minor infractions. Trump has just trampled over multiple amendments of the constitution, as well as international human rights treaties it has signed.
His order is already being defeated in the courts, and I hope the Supreme Court grabs hold of it quick to teach him the limits of his newfound power.
The man is total scum. 9/11 – 15 of those involved came from Saudi Arabia. So Saudi must be on the list, surely? No, he the Trump family have investments in Saudi Arabia, you wouldn’t want to piss those off. The Boston bombings! Those were Islamists with a foreign origin. Surely their country of origin is on the list? Oh, they came from the Russian Caucasus’. We don’t want to piss off the Russians. The San Bernardino shootings? Origin? Pakistan. Okay, maybe we’ll add that one to the list.
Were you to do a Venn diagram, there would be no overlap between those countries whose citizens have made terrorist attacks on American soil and those countries whose citizens have been banned.
This is a moment for any American who believes in their country to be ashamed. Always remember, Hitler was elected, and then dragged his people into the greatest catastrophe of the 20th Century.
The same can happen again unless we keep on our guard.
I watched Trump do this spiel about how under Obama Muslims fleeing Syria were given preference over Christians (without providing any evidence of that), and that Syrian Christians should be prioritised, while a Syrian Christian family who had visas and were on the refugee programme were turned because he had cancelled every Syrian refugees visa.
A country that says it will no longer take a single refugee from the worst war-torn areas of the world anymore should be ashamed.
