Now I'm a confused bassist ukulele guitar synthesizer kazoo penguin everyone who is definitely not @Joe. This has been true for 2016 & 2017 but I may have to get more specific in the future.

Its the shortest day of the year today (22nd December) with the Winter solstice occurring at 04:49 (GMT time). After this the days begin to get lengthen. Thankfully.
I’ve been touting the longer days theory all day. My co-workers are looking at me as though I’ve lost my mind. It’s hard to tell the difference from any other day, though.

They day lasts the same time. It’s the day light that changes. Maybe that’s why people get confused.
If you can't log in and can't use the forum go here and someone will help you out.

Speaking of, you just reminded me. Next year is a leap year, so remember that, everybody.
I'm Necko. I'm like Ringo except I wear necklaces.
I'm also ewe2 on weekends.
Most likely to post things that make you go hmm... 2015, 2016, 2017.

Probably someone who works for BBC Online deciding today was a good day to upgrade, and not realising what one/some of the new bits would do.
It’s not just here that upgrades don’t always go as intended. @Joe can take comfort from the fact that even the BBC goes down at times…

Sources at the BBC saying it was a “distributed denial of service” web attack. Probably some bored 12 year olds with nothing to do after the Christmas period.
Strange how so many want the BBC gone yet 5 minutes of it not working and they are raging that they cannot access it and demanding it’s fixed immediately.

Sad times for Apple. They only sold 74.8 million iPhones in the last year making a rubbish net profit of $18.4bn. Tough times.

Has anyone seen the video of the nine-year old girl sobbing because her mother got her tickets to see Donald Trump? I’m older than nine, I hope, and there would be a higher chance of me crying because I’m going to see Ringo.

Trump makes me laugh because he’s so stupid (in my opinion). I haven’t seen that video, tho. I’ll probably look up that video, now that you mention it
Personally, if I was old enough to vote, I’d probably vote for Bernie (if he makes it far enough into votes or whatever you call it).

I like Bernie, but I don’t think the economy would do well if it’s socialist (I mean, look at it now). He’s probably got the cleanest track-record of anyone, though.

People get so bent about socialism. There are many areas where the free market fails and government has a role. Spread the money around a bit more and it gets spent on more basic items which creates jobs. Spend it on a Ferrari and there are fewer knock-on effects.
And yes, I’m looking at it now. Maybe it’s such a mess BECAUSE you don’t have the right mix.
