@Ahhh Girl No great progress since last time, although she’s using it a little more to move around. The cast comes off on Monday so we’ll be able to see how well it’s healed. Apparently it can take up to a year for the bones to fully straighten out.

IIRC WordPress creates a default account called Admin. It’s a popular target for hackers so it’s sensible to delete it.

I didn’t get 1+ for Christmas! I ended up buying it myself in January. Oh well, no harm done.

I don’t really do resolutions. I think I decided to finish writing my book by the end of the year. I’ve said that before though.

Rosie’s arm was set wonkily, and the doctors said it might take another eight years or so till it’s fully straight. It’s got a bit of a curve in the forearm, nothing too major.

She also broke her foot in December and was in plaster for a fortnight. I think we’re on a watch list with authorities (we love her and would never hurt her, needless to say). The last time we took her to fracture clinic they said she might have osteogenesis imperfecta, which sounds like a Harry Potter spell but is better known as brittle bone disease. Kickboxing lessons will have to go on hold. She’s a happy soul though.

Chocolate digestives maybe. I’ve no idea if you get those in the US. Fun fact for those in the UK: did you know the chocolate is actually on the bottom? It’s true!

Apparently I’m getting a haircut in about two weeks’ time. Ellie has a hairdresser who comes round to ours every once in a while. I just piggyback their appointments.

When the bubble bursts I’ll go and live in a shed at the bottom of the garden, fashioning quills from feathers and writing answers to imaginary questionnaires.

My favourite colour is the semi-opaque alabaster trail of dried tears on the face of a broken hearted child. Only joking, that’s a stock Smash Hits smiling popstar interview answer. I’ll go with bottle green, the kind you see once the wine has been drained and drunk.

Yeah, I think you know the answer to that one. Although I’m on a huge Bowie binge right now, working through some of the albums I never paid attention to (1.Outside, Earthling, Buddha of Suburbia). Other than that, I’m excited that LCD Soundsystem are making a new album. All My Friends is one of my Desert Island Discs.
