This is an introduction thread, the link that the e-mail sent to me went nowhere: https://www.beatlesbible.com/fo…..on-thread/
But I still wanted to introduce myself! I looked around the whole forum for the most appropriate place to start the intro thread but couldn't find a suitable one. Sorry if this too out-of-place. Anyway, lets get started:
I'm a 22 year old guy and I started getting into The Beatles about four years ago. I have mostly gotten songs from… not so proper sources. No torrenting! Nothing illegal of course. I started by recording the output to my speakers while playing the songs on the streaming site Deezer.com and saving then as a 64 Kbps mp3. Oh how little I knew back then! Other sites were less scrupulous (or just lazy). Since with them you can just fetch the mp3 out of your browsers cache folder. Youtube is also another source. But mostly I kept it to a minimum. I promise that I will buy the box set from The Beatles website one of these days! $150 bucks is actually pretty reasonable. I would of expected to pay more. Sometimes I'll look at the box set and think to myself (in Paul's voice) “Got To Get You Into My Life !”.
I recently inherited an ipod that had only one Beatles album on it and that was Revolver . I was absolutely floored at how many great Beatles songs there were that I never even heard of! Such as “I'm only sleeping” and “For No One “. I'm actually gitty at the thought of discovering more awesome songs once I'm done being lazy and buy the albums. At this point I've just been slowly amassing song I heard of.
Well that should be enough for now. I would hate to ramble on for too long. I already see threads I'd like to get to! Bye, thanks for reading! 🙂
Hi Jackson. Welcome to the forum!
Thanks for letting me know about the broken link. I’m not sure how that happened, but I’ve amended the message that people are sent when they subscribe – it should lead here: https://www.beatlesbible.com/f…..on-thread/

Welcome, Jackson.
I don't know who you inherited the iPod from, but Revolver has you off to a great start. I hope you have fun “discovering” the Beatles music you have yet to hear. I highly recommend the remastered box set.
Anyway, we look forward to hearing more about your discoveries and seeing your posts in this Forum.
Cheers!

Welcome Jackson!! I'm Mith from Mexico. Here's an apple to you
I hope you can get the Box Set soon. I have to tell you that when I saw it, I took it and I paid it with my credit card without even bothering to see the price. Yeah I was that bold. Now I sing “Got To Get You Into My Life ” to John Lennon 's box set. Now, you can also purchase the albums individually, and that's a good way to get them without being broke.
Revolver is a fantastic album to start into the Beatles. It's my favorite album in tie with Abbey Road and Magical Mystery Tour .
BTW I have to say, I love your avatar.. Paul Strawberry Fields beard is awesome

Hello Jackson. I’m kind of new to the forum, too, seeing how I started…a little less than a month ago. I wrote a reaaaaaally long explanation on who I am here.
I salute the lady who screamed "I love you Paul!" at a tribute band's concert.

Welcome Jackson and Till There Was You !( but you have posted more than me ,so I guess I'm the junior:D)
I gotta admit that I don't really have that much Beatles recordings either… Ouch. I'm too poor.
